Chapter-4 I Look Like My Mom?

She was thunderstruck. She said," I knew her when we all were classmates and your mom and dad dated but never seen her after you were born. Don't feel humiliated but I hate your mom. How can someone leave her newborn child and never came back to see it? Thanks to your dad you've grown so well. If you were brought up by her, you'd have been an exact copy of her."

I inquired further, "I think this may be the reason my dad never talked about her. My dad hates her because she left me alone when I was born as if I was not related to her. How did she look do you have any photo?" She answered," no, I don't have any photo but I know how she looks."

She rushed into the room and brought out a mirror and said," look at it, you'll find out how your mom looks." I answered," so, I resemble her in a lot of ways, maybe I'm a photocopy of my mom. Thanks, ahjumma for telling me and sharing information."

She said," no problem, I felt like you should know about your mom so I told you. Hey kids, it's too late go back and sleep. You have college tomorrow." I went to John's room and slept.

I woke up when John knocked on the door. He asked," did you sleep well?" I replied," yes and how about you?" He said," I couldn't sleep last night because I had a lot on my mind." I just hugged him and said," Hey, don't worry about it, let's go to my place, I have to take my bag and get changed."

When we reached my place, I opened the door and we went in but I heard a voice from upstairs. It was my dad, I quickly rushed upstairs and hugged my dad. He smiled and asked," where was my princess? I couldn't find you when I came here at 4 am, we're you at your friend's place? Where were you at May's place or Arnold's place?"

I smiled and said," I spent the night at John's place." He turned serious and said," did you sleep in Bae Joo-Hyun's room?" I answered him," no I slept in John's room." He burst out with anger and said," where's that bast*rd? I'm gonna kill him today. Wasn't dating my daughter was enough and how did his mom allow you to sleep in his room."

He charged downstairs and saw John, he was about to burst on him but I quickly got there and screamed," Hey, listen to me first, I slept alone in his room and he was sleeping on the sofa." Dad melted in a fraction of a second and said," sorry, I didn't trust my daughter, I'll buy you both movie tickets as compensation, is it okay?

I said," yeah, there's nothing to be sorry about dad, you've been always protective but don't forget I'm your daughter. Hey dad, I forgot to tell you one thing...."
