Chapter-6 Bae Joo-hyun Is Irene?

I turned to John and said," John maybe you should leave. She caught me looking at her. She may be a threat to you. So leave as soon as possible, you're not safe here." He laughed and said," what? A threat? My mom? Why would she be a threat to me? I feel safer when I'm around her."
I was shocked and said," what? How did you know that lady is your mom?"

He said," look at her clothes, the way she sits, the way she talks, I'm damn sure she's my mom and I remember my dad called her Irene. So I knew it should be my mom." I was enraged and screamed," you damn brat!... Everyone was looking at us. I lowered my voice and said," you knew all along my dad is going to meet your mom."

While I was speaking, dad called us over. We went and sat at their table and he said," why are you screaming at John? Behave yourself in public places." Sabrina said," she's just like Irene, she also yelled at her boyfriend but loved him more than her life. Woah, this dad-son duo has got the best-suited partners for them."

I said," Aunt Sabrina, can you tell me why you call her Irene." My dad said," it's a long story. When she came from Korea and transferred to our school she didn't talk much but we wanted to be friends with her but she didn't talk with anyone in the class and her name was a bit difficult to pronounce. So one day, Sabrina became friends with her and gave her a nickname, 'Irene'."

I said," so dad, you said she beat the shit out of you but how?" Aunt Sabrina said, " she may look elegant and weak but fight against her you'll know. She uses her agility and intelligence more than power. If she outwits you, you're dead." I replied," yeah, I noticed that she looks good even when fighting. When she was fighting her hair was also set. It looked like she didn't even fight."

She said," stop praising me, I'm feeling embarrassed and don't talk about violent things in front of my John he gets scared." I said," don't worry ahjumma, I've killed a person in front of John but he didn't seem afraid. He got used to it being with me." John said," Hey Veronica, stop it, who said I was not afraid, I was afraid but the intensity was less."

While he was speaking, a girl came to our table and left a note.
I read it," brace yourself, I'm coming for you soon. I hope you took good care of Veronica. Vernon, I'm gonna kill her in front of you." I passed the note to Aunt Sabrina and she read it aloud. My dad said," I know who has sent this letter." Irene said," yeah, I also doubt the same person. What about you Sabrina?" Aunt Sabrina answered," yeah, the same person..."
