Chapter-13 My Sister, Pearl!?

Should I tail Arnold and find out? I didn't think he's the type to betray May and date some other girl and I never thought he'd date that bitch Pearl. Isn't he afraid of the consequences? What if May finds out? I'm sure he'd be dead.
I decided to tailed Arnold alone, I can't involve John in it because I don't want him to be involved.

He was at the cafe near the crossroad. They seemed pretty close. He was giggling and talking with Pearl. He opened the gift she gave him and was too happy to see it that he kissed her. I couldn't believe what I just saw. I wanted to go there and smack him because he was betraying my best friend.

After few minutes, May came over there and sat with them and he was holding her hand in front of May! What am I even seeing? I must get out of here. When I was about to leave I heard a voice, it was May. She called me," Hey Veronica, come over sit with us. Uh, yes, this is Arnold's girlfriend, Pearl." It felt like I was struck by lightning. I had no idea what's going on.

I asked Arnold," weren't you dating May?" He replied," no, why would I date her? She isn't rich as Pearl. Pearl buys me everything I like. She likes me so much that she gave me a beachside house as a gift. May never gave me such expensive gifts so I don't think I could date her forever." I lost my cool when I heard it. I smacked him with all power I had and said," just die, you b*st*rd." I left without any word and dragged May along with me.

When we reached home, May was on verge of tears. I wiped off her tears and said," I'll beat his *ss the moment he comes back, don't worry you have me." She smiled at me and said," I'm very grateful to have you as my friend but you've misunderstood Arnold. He isn't cheating me, he's dating Pearl because of some reason." My jaw dropped to the ground. I asked her," what's the reason?"

She said," don't you remember, I told you that my parents died at Arnold's place in the fire but, they're alive. Your mom saved them and they are her hostages. If we don't do as your mom wishes, they may be nothing more than corpses." I screamed," so you mean, your mom, dad are alive and what about uncle Scott?" She replied," he's alive too but he's in the worst situation."

I asked her," shouldn't we tell Aunt Sabrina about it?" She replied," do you want them to be dead!? If we tell her or anyone about it, we'll put everyone, my parents and Uncle Scott in danger." I was stunned for a moment, I shook off my head and asked," Then why is Arnold dating Pearl?" May replied," she's your un-identical twin!"

What in world is happening to me? I may die today because of a heart attack. I asked," what? My twin sister? Does she live with my mom?" May replied," yeah, she lives with your mom and your mom loves her more than anything else in this world. We're getting back at her using her daughter." I said," wait what? Then she loves her one daughter and resents the other. Why?"

May said," I don't know about this it's your family matter." Woah, I thought my life was better than others but I think it's more f*ck*d up than I think it would be. While I was thinking about this, my mom banged open the door and said," where's that br*t Arnold? How can he date my daughter?"
I don't have any idea what will happen next.
