"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADRIEN!" Amelie exclaimed as she swung open Adrien's door and waltzed in.

That was one thing Adrien was still getting used to. Amelie had no sense of privacy -or boundaries- especially when it came to Adrien.

"Amelieeee." Adrien groaned as he rolled onto his front, squishing his face into his pillow.

"Come on get up, we've got presents in 30 minuetes." she replied, placing a tray of fruit down on his coffee table.

"We have people for that," Adrien said as he leaned over his bed frame, grabbing a grape and popping it into his mouth. as he sat up in his bed and questioned why Amelie was the one bringing him breakfast "And, why am I eating it alone, in my room? Oh and what do you mean, presents? As in plural?" Adrien asked curiously. He hadn't had much experience with 'normal' birthdays and was quite confused about what traditions Amelie might have, he figured asking would make things easier.

"I gave them the day off, and yes- presents, as in multiple" Amelie said as she wandered over to Adrien's dresser and pulled out his clothes, including boxers. Adrien screwed his face up at Amelie's actions but disregarded her actions as he was more focused on what she had said.

"I have more than one gift?" He asked.

"Just be in the dining room in half an hour, okay?" She replied as she walked towards the door "And eat!" She added before disappearing out of his room.

Half an hour later, Adrien made his way to the dining room and swung open the door. Stunned at what he saw, he stared a moment at the stacks of gifts piled up on the table, before looking over to Marinette who stood chatting with Felix. When she noticed Adriend staring at her, a smile formed and she ran into his arms.

"Happy birthday Adrien." She whispered in his ear, tickling him, and causing a small chuckle.

"Wh-why're there so many?" He asked quizzically

"Because they're from all of us!" Alya yelled, jumping out from behind the table, along with Nino, Chloe and the rest of their class, excluding Lila.

The presents were of all different shapes and sizes, some small, some unwrapped.

"After everything that happened, we never got a chance to apologise to you." Max admitted, shuffling his feet on the polished floor.

"But we talked with Marinette and she helped us arrange this..." Kim added.

"I know you invited us to your party tonight, but we felt we couldn't just show up without talking to you first." Mylene said as she scooted over and gave Ivan a nudge.

"Y-yeh." He added.

Everyone stood in an awkward silence, waiting for Adrien to either yell at them or accept their apology.

Adrien yelled.

But not at them, with them. They laughed and chatted, opening presents and taking photos before everyone had to leave for school. Adrien didn't have time to open Marinette's gift because she insisted on going last. She promised to give it to him later tonight at the party. They arranged for everyone to arrive back at Adrien's at 8pm, because Adrien promised to spend the day with Felix and Amelie.

Around 730pm, Marinette jumped back from the hatch asthree people came tumbling into her room.

"Just ask Ladybug, she'll know what to do." Marinette heard Alya say.

"Ha ha very funny." Chloe snarled as she plopped herself down on Marinette's chaise.

"You are her biggest fan after all." Alya teased, poking Chole'sr arm and sitting down next to her.

"Hello? Forgetting Miracle Queen are we?" Nino laughed as he made himself comfortable.

"Shut up." Both Chloe and Alya snapped in unison.

"Someone care to tell me what's going on?" Marinette finally spoke up.

After the accident, Chloe found herself spending a lot more time with Marinette and the group. She wasn't sure whether they were friends or not, and whenever she was questioned on the matter, by Adrien or Luka, she would simply deny it. Admitting Marinette and Alya weren't as bad as she once thought wasn't easy for Chloe, so she'd rather live in denial. Even if she was hanging out, laughing and even going to parties with them- she would forever claim she hates them.

"You know, when Chloe and Luka hung out for like hours, chatting about their families, and playing music- apparentlyyyy someone caught feelings." Alya said, leaning forward and clasping her hands under her chin.

"Not true!" Chloe yelped, her face tinged pink. She was sure she would become permanently blushed if she kept getting embarrassed this much She had already told Alya, so there was no getting out of it. She decided to ask anyways "But, if I did-I mean, how would I know if he likes me? I mean of course he would like me, what's not to like? But, uh, how do I tell?" She asked, her gaze high and snooty, but her legs bouncing up and down gave her curiosity away.
"Just confess." Marinette said simply.

"That's it? That's your heroic advice?" Chloe asked, the excitement leaving her tone.

"Luka's a direct guy, if he doesn't like you, but I'm sure he does, then he'll tell you. So there's not much to worry about." Marinette continued as she jumped up from her chair and started fixing her pigtails in the mirror.

"Hey Nino, what was that cheesy line you used on me the other day?" Alya asked as she got up and sat down next to Nino, who slug his arm around her shoulders.

Alya blushed as he smiled back at her before he replied. "Do you live in Paris because Eiffel for you."

"Yeah that one." Alya said, still entranced in his gaze "You should use it on Luka." Alya continued, finally diverting her eyes from Nino.

"Ugh that's ridiculous, utterly ridiculous." Chloe moaned as she got up and headed over to Marinette. "Now let me offer you some advice, lose the pigtails." Chloe said as she pulled the hair ties out of Marinette's hair.

"She's right, they make you look 14." Nino added, before receiving a hard nudge in the abdomen from Alya, accompanied by a scowl. Nino just shrugged it off and awaited a reply from Marinette.

"You think?" She asked as Chloe brushed her hair out and handed her a pink pin.

"Put it half up with this, the pin will match your dress and your clutch matches your heels- perfection." Chloe smiled at herself. Chloe was right, Marinette's dress was a pink, mid-thigh, pencil dress which complimented her features perfectly. It was lined with silver stitching to match her shoes and silver clutch. She wasn't dressed up, or down, it was the perfect combination.

"T-thanks Chloe, do- do you think Adrien will like it?" Marinette asked nervously as she fixed her hair up with the pin.

"Yesss." All three of them replied before all erupting in laughter.

Not long after, they were on their way to the best party of the year, completely unaware that this would set off a chain of events which would turn their worlds upside down...
