Marinette!" Tom yelled as he tugged at Ladybug's leg, attempting to bring her back to the ground.

"Papa! Stop right now!!" Ladybug yelled, kicking at her fathers grip around her ankle.

THUMP. Chat Noir was hit with the flat of Reckless Revenger's sword. A wind band didn't form around his body, but Chat was hit to the ground, leaving him breathless. Chat began to panic, scrambling on the floor at the foot of the Eiffel tower, attempting to catch his breath- a cold leeching fear seeping into his bones. The wind billowing past his face, like when he had fallen weeks ago. Everything he could remember from that night flooded his mind and he became useless.

Ladybug finally kicked her father off her leg, and swung her attention back to Reckless Revenger. She saw Chat Noir on the ground, scrambling away from the villain. Now Ladybug knew why their identities had to be kept a secret. Her plan would no longer work. She needed Chat, nd in the time it took her to deal with Tom, he had been hit and he couldn't be used for her plan. For the first time since hero's day, Ladybug's lucky charm had failed.

Ladybug could do nothing but watch as she saw Chat Noir struggle to get away from Reckless Revenger.

"Give me your Miraculous." He demanded, a purple butterfly reappearing on his face

"Nino look at me!" Alya yelled, running out of the elevator towards Chat Noir and Reckless Revenger.

"Huh?" Reckless Revenger asked, a puzzled expression filling his face.

"Look at me Nino. It's me, Alya, I need you, please Nino come back to me..." She begged, stepping closer to the akumatised Nino.

"I'm not Nino anymore I'm-" Reckless Revenger said, his eyebrows scrunched in confusion, his attention turning away from Chat Noir as he began to approach Alya.

"But you're still Nino to me- even with the scary sword and the stupid sandals. You're still Nino to me." Alya protested, reaching out for Reckless Revenger's hand.

"Alya no!" Ladybug screamed, from 20 feet in the air.

Dismissing Ladybug, Alya grabbed Reckless Revenger's hand, taking the villain by surprise, and preventing him from lunging at Ladybug

"What're you doing?" He asked, yanking his hand out of hers.

"Alya..." Chat Noir whispered as he finally caught his breath and staggered to his feet.

"I know, I know" She said back, holding both her hands out towards Reckless Revenger.
"I'm not trying to stop you, what Chloe and Marinette did was unfair and rude. I just want my boyfriend back, please Nino break through..."

"What I- I" Reckless Revenger stuttered. Nino was in there, Alya could see him trying to break through. But she wasn't sure if he was strong enough...

"Nino-" She pleaded a final time, grabbing his free hand.

This gave Chat Noir the signal to summon his power,

"CATACLYSM!"

And swipe at Reckless Revenger's sword while he was distracted.

Reckless Revenger's eyes widened and he let out an ear splitting scream, clutching at his golden laurel crown. A black and purple cloud engulfed him, small, black, broken pieces of plastic landing on the pavement as he transformed.

In a cloud of black and purple re-appeared Nino, a small moth flying off into the air.

"Chat Noir, the akuma!" Alya yelled, falling to the floor with Nino in her arms.
