1. {nightmares}

~hi this one is angsty but it has a cute ending, also idk why I would make this chapter the first one but most of these are fluff~

~Gon and Killua are dating in this one~

Killua's dream 

"Your calling is as an assassin. There's no fire in you, just darkness. It sustains you, drains you of any desire. Your only joy is in causing death, and even that is fleeting. This is how Dad and I  molded you." 

The words just wouldn't go away, no matter how hard he tried to push them out they would always remain right there. Some days he managed to hide them and not give attention or any thought to them. But other days, they were strong and persistent, torturing him from inside.

As he ran down the empty road that continued on forever into the darkness, he thought he would never reach the light again. His brothers words just echoed stronger and stronger. 

Theres no fire in you, just darkness" 

He walked faster.

"Your calling is as an assassin"

 He started running now.

"Your only joy is in causing death, and even that is fleeting."

Now he ran so fast that he was determined to find the light. He needed to get out. Slowly he felt as if his body was suffocating, like being pulled down in water without any escape. But at the end of the tunnel he saw something bright. I think its...the light. But as he reached toward it he saw something else. Something....crying. 

It was Gon. As Killua ran over to him he saw his brother standing behind Gon. 

"NO! please don't kill him!" Killua screamed.

And with a flash of his hand and the swiftest move of a blade...Gon was gone.

As Illumi walked over to Killua he said "This is your fault for not doing anything. I told you're not cut out for friendships. Your only joy is in causing death, and even that is fleeting. This is how Dad and I molded you."

Killua screamed and shot up in bed. Tears were running down his face is never-ending rivulets. as he buried his face in his hands and cried. He felt something warm behind him. He had completely forgot that he could have woken up Gon with his yelling. 

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you up." he said still sobbing.

Gon sat up more now and hugged him saying "Why would you apologize over something like that. You had a nightmare. You were suffering and now you're apologizing to me." 

Killua tears had stopped now only to be replaced with soft sniffles. 

"Do you want to tell me what it was about?" Gon asked. He knew Killua was probably going to say no, usually being very private about his nightmares, but it was worth a try. 

"...not now if that's ok" Killua said almost whispering as if ashamed that he couldn't tell Gon. He didn't know why but he just couldn't tell him yet.

"Thats fine," Gon responded still hugging him and now stroking Killua hair. "Maybe in the morning?"

"Maybe." Killua responded.

Gon wrapped his arms around Killua and pulled him back into the bed. both landing into the soft covers Killua hugged Gon and nuzzled his chin into the crook of his neck. he loved him. He loved Gon so much. And right now, in this bed, hugging each other, nobody could change that.
