16. {mad}

~Killua is a very big over-thinker in this one shot and has slight anxiety ~

~Retz and Gon are good friends in this~

3rd person p.o.v

Wow. He couldn't  believe it. This was Killua's third day dating Gon. The two of them still haven't told anybody except for Aunt Mito they were dating. But ever since Killua confessed on Friday night it still felt like a dream. He was still not very used to so much touch, so they didn't cuddle much. He also blushed. A lot. Just because he confessed didn't mean he stopped turning red whenever Gon hugged or kissed him. 

Going onto the kitchen to get food he heard Gon laughing on the phone. I wonder who he's talking to, Killua thought. Deciding to investigate he leaned behind the kitchen door and continued to listen to what seemed to be a phone call, because they didn't invite anyone over. 

"Well duh, if I were to actually like him....which I don't."  Gon said again, slightly giggling.

The other person said something back which made Gon blush.

"No! What? Why would even think that?? I don't even like him!!" Gon said turning more annoyed with the other person.

"Ok, listen, first of all, he's annoying, thats why. He is so clingy and-" Gon started to explain further, but by the look on his face he seemed to be interrupted. Once Gon finished listening to other person he spoke up again.

"NO! He's awkward ...." Gon waited for the other person to talk and then responded with, "Yea... I know I need to go too. I'll see you today though?"

  Gon listened to the other person respond and then ended the call with a, "Ok! Byeeee."

Killua walked back to their room, thoughts rushing through his head after that phone call.

 Who was he talking to?

 More importantly, who was the mysterious person Gon was talking about and who was Gon talking to in the first place?

 Could it be- ...no. 

Killua tried to push away that specific thought but the fact that Gon might have....might have been talking about him just couldn't go away. He was kinda annoying and clingy. And awkward.... ohgod. Did Gon lie to him when he confessed back? Tears started to form in Killua's eyes but he quickly held the back before they could roll down as he decided he wouldn't let that take over him. "No, I can't think like this. I'm just overthinking.... It could be someone else.... yea....it definitely could be,"  Killua thought.

About an hour later Gon came up to their room and lit up as soon as he saw Killua.

"Killua! I haven't seen you all day, why didn't you come down or something,"

"I-...was just tired," Killua responded flatly.

"Oh, ok. Do you want to take a nap together?"

"No, it's fine, I'm just gonna go eat."

"Oh...." Gon sat down on the bed thinking as Killua left the room to go get food.

"What's up with Killua today? I mean, he's always annoyed with people, but he's never so cold towards me. I wonder if he got mad at me? What did I say?"

With other thoughts similar to these rushing through his head, Gon almost forgot he had to meet up with Retz! He got ready and was just about to leave when he heard a voice behind him say, "Where are you going?"

He turned around and saw Killua standing there. 

"Oh, me and Retz are meeting up for a little. I'll be back in an hour or two."
