They ate in silence most of the time. Yunho hadn't talked about what happened before, saving that subject for when they'd be done eating. Mingi wouldn't talk, unless Yunho started the conversation. He felt to ashamed, his pride was hurt.
They sat at a cute spot in the park, near the fountain and the children's playground, on a picnic table instead of grass this time.
"I made some fruit salad for dessert, you know the one I often eat. If I remember correctly you once tried it and liked it, am I right?" Yunho asked giving Mingi some glances while he put some of the fruit salad in their bowls. "Yes, yes that's true." Mingi hesitantly smiled at Yunho, eye contact stilk being an issue.
Just after they finished their dessert, Yunho began what they really came for: an open and clear discussion.
"What you said before, was it true?...That you love me?" Yunho asked slowly, his tone pure and soft in Mingi's ears.
"Well, honestly I don't really know what 'love' is supposed to feel like. But I guess by the strange feeling I do. Maybe I don't love you yet but I think I'm starting to like you?" Mingi searches for the right words to say to Yunho without hurting him again.
"Don't love me just yet, huh?" Yunho smirked. Mingi blushed and didn't look up, instead he bluntly confessed entirely how he felt, after all, would he still have a moment like this with Yunho?
"Plus, whenever you're mad at me I feel so bad, the same goes for when you ain't around. Like I just need your presence, I need to feel it. I also don't like when you cuddle with your friends because that makes me feel less special and maybe kind off jealous, I don't know. Other than that I love the sleepovers because when you wrap your arms around me I feel warm inside, it's a feeling I hadn't felt in such a long time and now that I got it back I don't want to lse it again. But yeah, that's about it." Mingi looked up, meeting the eyes of the older boy already staring at him, his head resting in the palm of his hand. Observing every little detail like he's done a hundred times, only now he's not hiding it.
"What?" Mingi asked after a couple of minutes that they have been staring at each other.
"You are indeed in love with me." Yunho smiled.
"Fuck you." Mingi pouted, making Yunho laugh.
"I'm happy we are good now though, it was starting to get heavy." Yunho now confessed.
"Yeah, tell me about it."After eating and talking they headed back home. Yunho needed to get ready for his work because he has a shoot this afternoon. He needed to shower and dress in something comfy which is easy to take off and put on.
He had two hours left to get ready, minus the fourty minute walk.Like always, they walked next to each other, not saying much. Enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Arrived at home, Mingi took care of the dishes while Yunho went upstairs. After all, this is the least he could do for Yunho. He hated doing this though, and the amount of dishes didn't help at all.
"You're still not done?" Yunho asked when he came back down, after his shower.
"You made to many things." Mingi stated. Yunho laughed and took a towel.
"Let me help you dry these."
"Thanks Yunho."
"No problem. By the way, do you want to come with me to my shoot? You will probably see the boys and you can get to know my little world." Yunho giggled.
"Can I?" Mingi stopped his movements and looked at Yunho.
"I wouldnt ask if you couldn't." Yunho smiled.
"Okay then, sure I'll come."
"You don't need to change, everyone there is clothed in simple outfits except for the models." Yunho nodded his head, as if he was talking to himself.
"Okay."They finished cleaning the plates and put their shoes on. Mingi sprayed parfume one last time and got in the car with Yunho to his work. Excitement overflowing his body.
