"Shouldn't we tell them?" Mingi asked his boyfriend as they were preparing themselves to go on a date. Well technically it wasn't a date because the others were all going to be there. They just didn't want to be seen in public yet.
Still, seeing Wooyoung and San so lovey dovey with each other, Mingi couldn't wait any longer. He wanted to tell his friends and thought it would be better to, after all, they'd all understand it.
But Yunho hesitated, yes they all accepted Wooyoung and San, but will his friends accept Mingi knowing what he did to him in the past? He wasn't sure. He knows he shouldn't care and just date whoever he wants but his friends opinions honestly matter a lot to him, and from his experience, they're never wrong about someone's worth. He trusted them more with his feelings than he trusted himself.
"I don't know Mingi." Yunho finally answered after some minutes in absolute silence.
"Why?" Mingi whined out, tugging at the sleeve of his just a little taller boyfriend.
"'Cause I don't know if I'm ready yet." Yunho talked slowly, looking him in the eyes, being sure his point was made. "Oh come on, we've been dating for two weeks." Mingi said while letting go of the sleeve. He turned around and exited the room.
Yunho sighed as he continued to prepare himself for the evening out. For some reason the younger lad never seems to understand his point of view, maybe because he is younger or maybe just because he hadn't had any experiences when it comes to dating, unlike Yunho who had quite a few.
After a long ride they finally made it to the restaurant. Well a fast food restaurant. McDonald's to be precise. This place literally was like a second home for them by now, it was their favorite place to hang out. Music, great food and a great mood, what else do you need?
As they approached their friends they said hello and ordered before choosing out a nice spot. They regularly sat in a corner on the second floor but their spot was taken today. So they went for a nice big table at the other side of the second floor. Many people don't like the second floor because it is quite hard to step up the stairs without spilling anything on your tray and that's why they love it so much, it is calm and they can talk about anything and everything without having to care if the people next to them heard.
Yunho offered to go take their food when the little alarm made a beeping sound, everyone gratefully accepted and waited for their food.
As he came back up with the plates everyone gasped in anticipation. Yunho put the plates on the table and everyone thanked him making a big scene. As Yunho was looking around he briefly met the eyes of someone he'd rather not meet. He turned his gaze away, pretending he didn't recognize him and preying to god he didn't come over. But of course god wasn't on his side and of course he came to his table.
"Hey Yunho!" The boy shouted in his Busan accent.
Everyone's eyes shot up at the tall, pretty boy. He was slim, feminine and had cute curly black hair. His smile made him seem like a cinnamon roll. But Yunho knows, he knows so well that boy could kill anyone and everyone, not physically but mentally. Because in fact, that boy is his ex. Yunho's friends know him, they never accepted him, saying he wasn't good but Yunho ignored their opinions back then and followed his heart, not listening to his mind.
Yunho was finally over him, finally okay again, mentally. But he wasn't prepared to face him yet, he wasn't ready.
"What do you want?" Jongho spit out, making Mingi and his friends concerned. Giving each other glances to make sure no one knows what is going on.
"Jongho it's okay, let's just eat." Yunho took Jongho's hand in his, giving it a little squeeze. He knew that was the only way to calm the younger, although it sometimes wouldn't help.
Yunho sighed and took a bite from his burger, pretending no one was standing behind him.
"You still like that one?" The younger boy talked again, a hint of amusement lingering in his voice. "Stop it already!" Seonghwa started of by talking but screamed at the end making everyone in the room look in their direction. The naturally calm boy was scary once angry, he made everyone tense, not daring to move in their seat.
With all the audience watching, including the McDonald's staff, the boy had no other choice but to leave, you'd think he would at least, but he didn't. He just stood there and laughed at Yunho desperately trying to get the boys attention.
"Stop bothering my boyfriend and get going!" Mingi shouted not being able to fight his anger anymore. The boy looked shocked, their friends even more and the staff including the customers cooed in unison.
Mingi didn't realise what he said until after he sat down and saw everyone looking at him, he knew he fucked up again.
