3 weeks after finally getting her husband to forgive her she didn't expect for her life to change so much. But it did.. All in one night.

Kassi sighed as she sat on the King Size bed. Her knees drawn up to her chest. Just looking at the rain pour down outside. She bit her lip. Completely lost in her own head and not paying attention to her surroundings. So much that she didn't even hear the door open.

Brantley sighed as he looked at the night stand. The chinese chicken salad that he had brought her. Her most favorite salad ever. Something that she could live on and eat just about everyday still sat unopened. A watered down Green Tea Lemonade sat beside it. He brought the food to her over 6 hours ago. He sighed as he sat the food he had brought her for dinner down beside it. He flopped down onto the bed. The woman didn't even flinch. It was like she had no idea that he was even there.

"Kass.." Brantley muttered as he went to stroke her arm. He watched in complete shock as she moved her arm away from him with a quickness. Then he watched intently as she wrapped her arms around herself still just steady watching the rain. Brantley just shook his head in disappointment as he watched the woman he once knew turn into a complete stranger right in front of his eyes.

She wasn't eating. She wasn't showering. Hell when he came to bed at night she got up and walked out of the room without so much as even a word. Not even bothering to give her husband a second glance. She wrapped a blanket around herself and walked down the steps into the living room. A place where she sat emotionless as she just let the tv stay on for background noise.

3 weeks ago this coming Friday.. Kassidy had lost the baby. Kassi was woke up in the middle of the night after spending most of the day in bed. She complained she hadn't felt well. She complained she was crampy. But she hadn't started bleeding yet so they weren't really worried about it. Brantley just told her to rest up and that she should feel better in the morning and for once she agreed with him. Kassi had ended up sleeping the day away. Then around 2 am she woke up with a jolt. Quickly describing as what she considered the worst pain of her life she went into the bathroom. Sitting down on the toilet and after a few minutes it was like she had felt something slide out of her. Her baby.. Her baby had slid out of her.

Brantley had gotten her to the hospital as fast as he could. Breaking every speed limit and then some known to man. Even though it didn't matter. The Emergency Room Doctor didn't help the situation at all either. His bedside manner  was terrible. He had basically been like well you lost the baby at home why come now? Still Kassi was admitted anyways and then her Doctor performed a D&C procedure the next morning. Brantley was able to take her home that afternoon.

Brantley rubbed his hands down his face as he tried to shake the memory away. It wasn't like she had lost the baby on her own! He had lost the baby too and she just didn't see it that way. Even though he tried his best to keep going at least for her. He felt like he was slowly losing the battle.

"Kassidy!" He shook her arms slowly and forcefully. "Look at me damn it! You need to eat something!" He shook her lightly.

That was when Kassi pushed him away forcefully back.

"Leave me the hell alone." She muttered. Before she got up and walked away.

"I lost the damn baby too!" He finally yelled back.
