The moment you ended your stream you just stayed in your chair. Frozen. Mouth still wide open. What the hell. This isn't something you expected in any way, shape or form. As you calmed yourself you thought back to what he said. He liked your content, that's the reason he followed.  He just liked the content because he, like everyone else who watched you, was a person who wanted to be entertained.
For some reason this thought eased your mind.  He was no different than the others in the chat screaming 'James time'. This truly calmed you. Just another follower, that's all he is, no more special. In fact he was less special, because he made his own stuff. You pushed the thought to the depths of your mind. You looked at the clock. Five-thirty. What to do, your parents would still be working until six and wouldn't be home until about seven.
You determine the best thing to do for now is go see James. You get up from your chair, stretching out, you grab your plate and head downstairs. As you get to the banister you hear quite a bit of noise in your kitchen. James, most likely.
"Y/n! I'm making pasta! Linguine with brown sauce to be precise, and I made a yellow cake with chocolate frosting!" He yells up to you. "Also Aunt Claire called, she and Kaya are coming for dinner so bring down your plate then get in the shower." You get downstairs and place the plate in the sink. "Y/n please, you know that goes in the dishwasher."
You grimace, placing it into the dishwasher. "So will mom and dad be back earlier?" You say, closing the dishwasher and leaning against it, arms crossed.
"Yes. They'll be home in like an hour. Please set the table and then shower." He answers while chopping garlic up. You nod. Grabbing six plates and silverware.
"Will Uncle Ron be joining us." You ask. Knowing he most likely won't, he works out of state.
"No, he's in Atlanta this week. I asked when she first said they were coming." He used the knife to slide the garlic off the cutting board into the saucepan.
You purse your lips into a thin line. Mostly worried for Kaya and how she is doing. Walking towards your dining room you cat rubs up against you. You switch the silverware to the top of the plate you reach down, carefully, and pet him. As you get to the dining room table you place each plate down at the seats and then the silverware.
Getting back to the kitchen you see that James has spur of the moment added chicken to the menu. Grabbing glasses, you return to the table and set them at each spot. "Alright dork, it's set. You bring the napkins out, I don't want Benny messing with them. I'm going to go shower."  You say going to the stairway and running up as fast as you can, as you usually do even if you don't know why. Benny follows you, rubbing against you again. You pick up the large orange tabby cat, he instantly starts purring. "Attention seeking brat." you huff under your breath as you put him on the bed. He sits down and mews at you. Grabbing a new set of clothes you walk out to the bathroom you and James share. As soon as you close and lock the door you start the shower and remove the clothes you're wearing. As you step into the shower you feel incredibly relaxed. The hot water on your skin melts away the stresses of the day. Worries of what marks you'll get on the exam you took today vanish. All that you can think about is the water and how you never want to leave. Even as you wash yourself you tend to drift off back to only thinking about how nice the shower feels as steam rolls out over and around the shower curtain.
A banging on the wall below you snaps you out of your trance. "Stop using all the hot water you know Dad needs it when he comes home." James screams.
"There is going to be enough calm down!" You reply.
"No! You did laundry today and that uses hot water! So get out!" He yells back. He is correct. On Fridays you do all the laundry, just a chore you kind of took upon yourself. You've done this for a while just to make sure James had clothes, he likes looking pristine at all times, causing you to have to teach yourself how to iron out all his clothes.
"Fine!" You shout back, turning off the water. Tearing yourself away from your happy place. Hopping out and quickly grabbing a towel from the closet you begin to diligently dry yourself. After making sure you were dry you put on the clothes you grabbed, a kind of formal but still casual top and the nicest jeans you owned. You begin to dry your shoulder length hair, not really sure what to do with it. You just brush it out and pull it back.
Checking the time when you go grab your phone from your room you see it's been thirty minutes. Meaning Kaya and Aunt Claire will be here any minute.
Running down the stairs to make sure James was ready you see he had put better glasses. Begrudgingly you walk in, annoyed he didn't like your choice in cups. "Why did you change the cups." You sass.
"We have guests Y/n," He starts. "We can't just go around using the mason jars, we use the good glasses. Presentation is everything." He finishes without even looking at you. As you go to speak there is a knock at the front door.
Sighing, you speed walk over to the door making a low humming noise, almost like a car. You open it to see Kaya. She is wearing an oversized sweater with a big heart on it and she is wearing her glasses instead of contacts. The blue frames make her dark blue eyes pop. "Y/N!" She shouts hugging you tightly. As she pulls away the sleeves slide down her arms a little more and flop over her hands, giving her little sweater paws.
You almost melt looking at how adorable your little cousin is, you can't believe she's turning fourteen this year.
James walks out of the kitchen to the closet where he hangs his apron. He then runs towards the door and lifts Kaya up. "Hiya Kaya! How's my little cousin doing!" He squeezes her and swings her around.
"Hey!" She giggles. "Put me down I'm not a baby!" Still laughing she wriggles out of his grasp and her eyes grow big. "Wait a minute Y/n!" she screams.
"What's up kid?" You say not really thinking, as you usher Aunt Claire in and take her coat.
"Tubbo followed you!" She says with a huge grin. Your heart jumps a little. You didn't want to think about that. You wanted to ignore it for as long as you could.
"Ha ha, yeah. Crazy right. That's gonna make it hard to stream." You say slightly embarrassed as you rub the back of your neck.
"It's super exciting. Maybe you could do stuff with him and," She gasps. "You could become his new best friend!" She seems pleased with her thoughts. Silly little girl.
"Tubbo followed you?" James questions. "What makes you so special, is it like an attraction thing?" He seems to only ask out of principle, no real care showing in his voice.
"He said it was a content thing." You laugh nervously.
"Hm. That would make it hard for you to stream yes." He walks to the kitchen as your phone goes off. It's a text from your mother:

Mom: Your father and I will be home in five minutes. Get everyone seated please.
You: k

You see your brother bringing the food into the dining room and you take that as your cue. "Hey Kaya, Aunt Claire. Mom and Dad will be home soon so let's just sit down in the dining room for now." You almost push them into the dining room.
As they sit down the door opens revealing your parents. They, for a moment, look stressed but they look excited. Their eyes shining in the light of the dining room. Your father hugs his sister and sits down, while your mother just offers a handshake and sits.
As the time goes by you and your brother try to talk with Kaya, though it isn't really working. Your parents seem to dominate the conversation and tell stories of when they were kids.
As minutes turn to hours you and Kaya get to talking more and more about her feelings towards Eren. This is something you fully disapprove of. He's one of your best friends and she is your cousin. The age gap isn't the problem for you, it's just that you don't want to see either hurt.
"Please Y/n, We won't do anything stupid." She pleads. As you start she cuts you off. "I'd never go against you wanting to date Tubbo."
Huh? Why would she say that? That isn't a possibility. The young girl looks up towards you hopefully. All you can do is stare, bewildered.

Why did she say that? Why?
