"Kaya Tubbo isn't your friend. Tubbo isn't anyone here's friend." You start shaking, what she implied kind of angered you. Even if you don't know why. Your fists begin to shake and you feel yourself turning red.
"I know that it's just silly that- where are you going?" You push past her towards the shoe box and slide on the first shoes you can find. Then you walk towards the door, quietly, trying not to make a scene. You are trying not to explode at this moment.
You grasp the doorknob firmly, squeezing all of your anger into it like a stress ball. Your grasp doesn't let up as you turn the knob, painstakingly slow as to not cause too big of a scene. Pulling the door open, fists shaking even more you see the screen door. Slowly you let go of the doorknob and reach for the handle.
"Y/n, where are you going? You can't walk away from this, we like each other!" Kaya screams at you, drawing your parents attention.
"Y/n! Close the door, it's too late to go out!" Your mother says in a panicked tone, knowing it isn't going to change your mind. You look towards the clock, it is only eight.
"I'm just going on a walk. I won't be far and I won't be long." You push down the handle and push the door open as you walk out.
The night is silent other than a few cars on the freeway that runs a few blocks from your home, and the sound of planes overhead, whooshing and whirling. The cool spring breeze blows and messes with your hair. It is a little colder than you remember, but that's just what you need: to cool down. Though you didn't mean it literally. You walk down the stone path from your porch to the driveway. You stupidly are wearing flip flops, as they were the only thing you could slide on at the door. You shiver as a colder breeze hits you. A few loose strands of hair fly into your face, hitting you lightly. As you walk out of the driveway the lights become sparse. The only thing illuminating the road ahead is a few streetlights, some houses, and mainly the moon.
Walking up the road you begin to feel around and you realize you've left your phone at home. Groaning, you continue down the road, coming upon a friend's house. You don't really want to bother her at this time so you continue on walking down the road.
"Y/n?!" You hear someone yell. You look around to see who might have yelled for you. "Dummy up here!"You look up and see a girl with glasses and long brown hair up in a ponytail. This the friend you didn't really want to bother. Gwen. Of course she's still up, you have a test in your college prep class next week.
"Hey Gwen, don't mind me. Just walking." You say turning back towards the road. Not knowing if you were disrupting something.
"Hey! No! Wait for me, I'll walk with you!" You turn to respond but she has already shut the window. Seconds later she comes bursting through the door running straight at you. Just before she reaches you she trips almost landing on her face. She, thankfully, just stumbles. "I'm okay!" She screams as she stands next to you, catching her breath.
You just laugh and shake your head as you begin walking, Gwen follows close behind. She's James' age but they don't talk much. James thinks she is too immature but you adore having her around. She makes the time fun.
"So, I saw Tubbo followed you, is that why you are going for a walk? To calm yourself before you have to get to sleep?" She asks as she runs ahead of you and starts walking backwards.
"No, family issues," You start as you pull her away from bumping into a car. "Eren and Kaya specifically."
"Oh right those two like each other. And I'm assuming you don't want that cause she is your little cousin and he is your best friend, right?" She asks.
"Correct." You quickly respond, pulling her away from a rouge branch.
"Which means that if anything happens then you'd have to pick a side. And you'd definitely pick Kaya, she is your cousin. So you'd lose your best friend." You have no idea why James thinks she's immature, she has a very good grasp on the world around her. "But Y/n, that's fine. You are allowed to feel that way. But they are also allowed to like each other. People do things others don't like all the time. We can't fault or punish them for liking one another. I think you should just let whatever happens happen. You can't always focus on the negatives silly." She playfully punches you, in the process almost falling.
"Yeah yeah, whatever Gwen. I'm not mad they want to be together, no one could be better for Kaya. I'm more mad she implied something would happen between Tubbo and I. I don't know him, we just follow each other on Twitch. It means nothing." You grumble.
"Hm, now that makes more sense, but again. See where that goes, maybe you two will become good friends. Plus I think he followed you on twitter." She says the last part with a little more excitement, while holding her phone.
"What now?" You didn't know anything about this. He couldn't have.
"Yeah he followed you on twitter! How fun is that! What a big day for you!" She shows you her phone.
It in fact says that Tubbo is following you. Why? Why is he following you?

Could this day get any weirder?
