~Chapter 12~

"So come on Y/n what was he like!" Gwen says hanging over the edge of your bed, her head resting on the floor. You wince at the uncomfortable position she is in.
"He's a person. We talked, it was not that big of a deal." You say pulling Mandy up off the floor and putting her on your gaming chair as you sit beside her on the desk.
"Oh come on you two had something going on. We could see it." Mandy says trying to get back on the floor, but you stop her.
"Love is a chemical reaction! And we can see those." Gwen says excitedly punching your floor.
"You saw two almost adults having a conversation. Now get up before you pass out." You move to go help Gwen.
"Never! I am a bat!" She begins hissing. You just stare at her.
"Bats don't hiss gwen." Mandy scoffs. "They squeak for there little stupid echolocation thing." Ignoring Mandy's comment about how she thinks the amazing skills of bats is stupid you go to Gwen. She puts her arms up and does grabby hands, you oblige and help her sit up right.
"My head hurts." She rubs her head and then tries to stand up. She falls to the ground like a ton of bricks. "I'm okay!" She sticks her thumb up, as always. What a clumsy kid she is.
"Y/n, your phone is going off. It's Wren." Mandy is holding your phone and shows that Wren is calling you on discord.
"Alright answer it and set it up against my monitor." You say grabbing Gwen's hand and pulling her up quickly.
"My God, I think you just popped my shoulder out of place." Gwen rubs it, and pouts at you.
"Hello?" You hear Mandy say as you begin to gently rub Gwens shoulder, worried you actually hurt her.
"Is Y/n there? She has to be it's her phone! Turn on the camera Mandy!" Mandy does as Wren says and Wren turns on hers. "Okay Y/n! I am so glad I had to do something today because we were all blessed with that collab. Y'all give off some weird vibes, like maybe interest in each other romantically or just like bestie vibes but like, I don't know." Wren does as she always does when she gets overly excited. She rambles and talks way too fast for most people to catch what she is saying.
"Wren it was nothing. We are just friends. He and I became friends before the stream, and hell he may never even stream with me again." You pop onto the screen before going back to rubbing Gwens shoulder.
"Uh huh, that's what they all say cowgirl." She begins to laugh at her own joke as if she also doesn't live in the southern part of America.
"You live in Tennessee Wren. You are also a cowgirl." You scoff.
"Not as much as you." She seems to forget that you know her family has a large amount of farmland so the only actual cowgirl in the call is her.
"I live in the suburbs of Columbia! I live near the city, are you crazy! You have actual cows!" You laugh, flabbergasted at what she is going on about. Gwen can't seem to control herself and laughs herself off your bed. After the thud of her hitting the ground she again says she's okay.
"Is that Gwen?" Wren asks, you remember Gwen and Wren have never spoken.
"Yes!" Gwen pops up. "I am a Gwen! Who doth you be!" Gwen points at the screen trying not to laugh at herself.
"I am Madam Wren of castle tiredsville! Tis a pleasure to meet you, Brave Knight Gwen!" Wren answers. Struggling just as much if not more. You and Mandy on the other hand do not try to hide your laughter.
"Madam! Tis a pleasure to meet you!" Gwen bows. Wren also does, then the two begin laughing hysterically.
"Now that you two have introduced yourselves, let's move on. What is this call about Wren?" You ask, regaining your composure. Wren doesn't seem to regain hers. She just continues to laugh. Wren begins to wipe under her eyes, she is crying. This causes you to start laughing again. It's adorable how funny she finds herself. You are very glad she and Gwen get along.
"It was just the Tubbo thing." She chuckles trying to stop the laughter. "And to apologize for being busy." Her laughter dies down.
"You don't need to apologize, spend time with your family kid." The four of you are grinning like idiots. "Gwen, what time do you need to be home for dinner?"
"Ummm." Gwen purses her lips and squints. With her glasses she looks very funny, but absolutely adorable. "When my mom gets home from her errands. That way I can look after Gavin for a bit." She finishes. Gavin is her seven year old brother. He is absolutely adorable, a funny kid.
"Alright, you only live down the block. But please don't scare her by running like a goblin straight towards her again." The sheer amount of times Gwen has done that on her way home from your house is terrifying. You imagine it to be just as terrifying for her mother who has to have her child run at her.
"Yeah, yeah. I won't." Gwen brushed it off way too quickly. You feel like warning her mother, but Gwen is a tricky one. She could be trying to get you to do that so that she expects it.
"Gwen does what?" Wren laughs.
"She will run up to her mother in a stance like a goblin. I don't know where or why she learned it but it's what she does." You answer.
"I knew we would get along, kid." Wren points at the camera excitedly. "But anyways I've got to go. Was lovely chatting with y'all. Have a great night." Wren frantically waves at the camera. You raise your hand to wave back but she has already ended the call.
"She seems fun!" Gwen smiles, sitting beside where you are standing on the floor. You look down at her, you have no idea why she and Mandy are always sitting on the floor. Especially since you have so many comfortable places to sit. You roll your eyes and join her on the floor. Mandy follows you.
"So kids, what do we do now?" You ask, hoping James will come in soon. You want food and are way too tired to walk downstairs to get it.
Gwen and Mandy look at each other and then in unison scream, "Mario Kart!!" Punching the air, the two begin laughing. You whimper. Your switch is connected to the TV in the room you and James share for consoles. And that happens to be all the way downstairs. Gwen and Mandy jump up, knowing that even though you don't want to, you will. You'd do anything for those two, they are like family.
Grumbling, you get up and complain about your joints slightly. The two dash downstairs and you follow, at your own pace. When you get there the two of them have already set up and started the game up. Mandy hands you the remote for player one. As always you and Gwen do rock paper scissors for who gets to be Waluigi. She wins this time, and you quickly pick Link. Mandy has gone with Peach, as usual.
As the time goes by you become more and more upset. You are going to miss this so much. Just hanging out with your friends. The people you've cared about for so long. Moments like this will just be over in two months. How on Earth will you care about people the way you care for them?
"Booyah! I won!" Gwen throws her control on the ground, snapping you out of it. She has won the game overall. "Now I should start heading home. I think my grandmother will be here today for dinner." Gwen stands up and brushes herself off. "Bye bye guys!" She begins to walk out but you and Mandy get up too.
"Let us walk you out. I'll drop Mandy at home as well." You grab the van keys.
"Okay! That makes sense." Gwen walks out first, then Mandy, lastly you. Gwen runs home as you close the door. Mandy runs towards the car as your phone vibrates. It's Tubbo.
Tubbo: Hey! Today was really fun! We need to call more and get to know each other much better! Have a great night Y/n!
Y/n: It was really fun! We should totally call again. You have a good night too!
You smile at the thought of talking to Tubbo more. You are most definitely looking forward to it. What a lovely friend he is going to turn out to be.
