Sweet As Honey

~Chapter 23~

     Upon arriving back to Wren's home you notice a missed call from Eren. You don't want to worry yourself with that then you get a text.

     Eren: God damn Y/N! Really!! You are blowing me off for Tubbo aren't you! You really need to stop talking to him before it tears the group apart.

     You get very annoyed at this message and scoff loudly. You don't need to answer Eren, and you don't want to be in an argument so you just leave him on read and shut your phone off.

     The day flies by, Wren, Peter and yourself film an episode of a small podcast that you plan on doing over discord as a Saturday video. Just giving your fanbase a little more content so that you feel like they are getting everything they can. Promptly naming it "Three Idiots Talking". The next thing you know is that it's Sunday morning and you are out to breakfast with Wren. Right after, the two of you need to head home. It is awkward as the check comes. You and Wren try to both pay but Peter takes it. You all know that the end of this fun is coming. You only got one day with her and it hurts. The second you saw her in person it was like finally seeing family again and now you are tearing yourselves away from each other. But Peter is the one who is more upset. You and Wren are going to the same university, the two of you requested to be roommates. Peter is getting left behind in high school. And it kills the three of you.

      Wren tries to make the car ride back to her place fun. Taking your phone and putting on a FNaF song. She and Peter screamed along, happy in the moment. Not acknowledging the fact that they were not going to see each other again for a few months and then they wouldn't see each other for a much longer time. And you wouldn't see Wren until school started... because you fully planned on going to England from July to the end of August. And you hadn't even told them yet. You had only discussed it with your parents. Your parents didn't like the idea but knew there was no changing your mind since there would be an adult present. You didn't want to tell them. Not yet. So you faked a smile the best you could and sang along.

      After dropping Wren off home and a very tearful goodbye on your part, which confused her but you could see in Peter's eyes he knew. Crap. About halfway into the drive he brought it up.

     "When are you going to tell her. When are you going to tell the rest, Gwen knows right? You can't tell Eren the reason, he'll flip." You look at him with a lot of guilt. "Don't, it's okay. Even if you refuse to admit it I see how you act with him. You giggle, you blush, somewhere within you have developed feelings stronger than friendship. And I knew before we even got there. James told me what he overheard. He is my friend too, you know." Peter reaches over and holds your hand.

     "I'm sorry." your voice is low, tears threaten to spill from your eyes at any second.

      "Never be sorry Bear. You are my best friend. My sister, I only want you to be happy, he makes you happy right? Just don't forget about us back here when you are on your adventure."

     Never." you choke back tears that have started flowing as you pull over, not risking anything.

     "I'll tell them, after you go. That way Eren doesn't have time to make you feel like shit for following your heart. Cause you really just need to admit it okay?" He chuckles as he pulls you into a hug. "You do so much for all of us, you push us all to have this platform. Go. Have fun. Be a kid and enjoy the adventure, but you don't get to cancel on us or our Friday friend chat."

     "I promise I won't. Ever." You hug him tighter, slightly sobbing into his shoulder.

     "We are gonna call Wren now though, she deserves to know right away." You nod, wiping your tears off your cheeks and sniffling.

     Peter facetimes Wren and you immediately confess to her, she doesn't give the response you were expecting though. For a moment she stays silent, then. "YEEEEESSSSS!!! I KNEW IT!" She bursts with excitement. Peter laughs. "TUBBO AND Y/N ARE GONNA MEET AND REALIZE THEY LOVE EACH OTHER!!! I"M GONNA BE AN AUNTIE!"

     "WOAH! That's a little extreme! No babies yet and we are both 17." You say in utter shock.

     "I don't mean now! But eventually I can just tell. He said it himself. You were meant to find each other, you're connected." You blush bright red, he did say that. Did he have feelings for you?

     "Ooooh, she's thinking about it." Peter teases.

     "Stop, you guys are putting things into my head! What if I like him and he doesn't like me, that would make going there awkward." You shake the thoughts from your head.

     "Don't be silly, he refused to kill you in a video game, that's what Eren and Kaya do." Peter says with a very matter of fact tone. This was true, the pair refused to kill each other in any game. And you could tell if Kaya was the killer in a game because Eren would refuse to say it was her and try to say he did it.

     "Gwen knows right?" Wren asks.

     You chuckle, "That's one of the things Peter asked first. But yes she does, she figured out Ranboo and I were going to be there around the same time and now she's made me promise to call her and talk to her before I go to bed and to pull Ranboo in when we talk so she can try her best to, as she said,'' You make air quotes. "Obtain him."

     "That is so Gwen." Peter chuckles. "Alright Wren we are gonna head back home now! Love you!"

    "Yes love you Wren!" You put a finger heart up to the screen and Peter follows.

     "Love you guys, get home safe!" She returns the finger hearts.

     The rest of the ride is extremely easy and fun. The two of you are screaming songs as the GPS tells you where to go.

     After dropping Peter home and getting back to your home you throw yourself onto the bed. The long drive made you very tired. Sleep is almost within your grasp when you hear your phone ringing. With a groan you answer.

     "Hello?" You say groggily.

     "Good! You are home! Get the hell on your computer and record with me, Tommy, Will, Phil and Ranboo!" You can hear the excitement in Tubbo's voice.

     "Well good to hear from you too, the weather here is alright." You say tiredly.

    "Sorry I should have been more polite, you are right. How are you?"

     "I'm well, a little tired but that's life. What about yourself?"

     "I'm good Y/n, So like... Get to your computer! Let's go! It's time for you to meet Tommy and the gang!"

    With a sigh you say, "Fine but you owe me big time."

    "Totally when you get here in early July I'll treat you to dinner!" He sounds overjoyed that you are coming.

This boy needed to stop, he was far too adorable.
