Y/n giggled as she stood outside her and the brothers' house. She was trying to make her face as straight as possible - but was failing miserably. Her mind was racing with words and phrases she was going to use, replaying over and over the little skits she and Papyrus had been preparing throughout the day. Last minute yes, but that's what happens when two procrastinators must work together.

She peaked through the window and caught a glimpse of Sans resting peacefully on the couch, Papyrus in the kitchen. He saw her and gave her a thumbs up, a mischievous grin coming to his face.

Now or never. I can do this!

She burst through the door. "HONEY, I'M HOOOMMEE!" she exclaimed as loud as her voice would let her. This caused Sans to bolt up on the couch, wide awake and terrified of who said it. Y/n tried to hold back a snicker when their eyes met.

Not a moment later, Papyrus walked casually onto the scene, a bottle of honey in one hand, trying his best to maintain a straight face (he did it pretty well). He grinned and wrapped his arm around Y/n's waist, pulling her in for a kiss on the forehead. Sans watched the whole thing transpire with his mouth slightly agape.

"Welcome home darling~" Papyrus purred. Y/n blushed madly but smiled up at him none of the less. "How was work?"

"Oh, it was agony without you darling," she replied, throwing a hand to her forehead dramatically. "But now that I'm home with you, it should be wonderful."

Papyrus hummed in reply and let her go, walking back to the kitchen as if nothing had happened. Y/n straightened herself up, pulling her shirt down, and stood in front of Sans with a warm smile on her face. "How are you doing Sans? Do I need to change your bandages again? Does anything hurt?" she asked sweetly.

Sans took a moment to respond. "I-I uh, it's no, it's good. But uhm, what was that all about-?"

"Oh right! I changed them this morning, I don't need to until tomorrow actually. How silly of me to ask," she remarked. Sans couldn't form words.

"BUT- but what about- wait why...? Y/n why did he...? Papyrus- he- wh-?"

"Oh, you must be tired! Here, lie down alright?" Without another word she pushed him back onto the couch, pulling a blanket up to his chin and patting him on the head. "Take a little nap ok while Papy and I make dinner. It's movie night remember? So we better be good and awake when it comes time to turn it on!"

"HUMAN I DEMAND ANSWERS-" She giggled in response and kissed his cheek, which only made him more confused, and walked to the kitchen with a stupid smile on her face.

Papyrus struggled to keep a straight face as she walked in. They both smiled, then tried to stifle giggles through their hands, which ultimately failed. They both burst out laughing.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT ACTUALLY WORKED!" Y/n gasped, holding onto the counter for support. Papyrus could only nod, his face looking like an orange by now.

"Y-yeah, I didn't think he'd just stop like that!" he added, now coming to stand by her side. "I really thought he'd freak out or something, not just- ppfff- oh my gosh that was great, he looked so confused!" Y/n nodded and grabbed his sleeve, pulling him down to her height.
