"Rise and shine, y/n! Get up, it's a brand new day. "

Gabi's voice rang through your ears, her loud words automatically waking you up. You frowned in disappointment, knowing you were in the middle of a very interesting dream. One that Udo was actually featured in.

In the dream, you two were secret spy agents, shooting down the bad guys and bringing justice to the world. Also, Udo was actually way nicer in the dream, not being a total dick. And you? Well, you were a badass in it, wearing a suit and everything. Not to mention how you had a variety of cool guns and weapons.

"Are you deaf or something?"

You returned your gaze to Gabi, who raised her brow in annoyance. You smiled at her in response, signalling that you heard her and would get ready. She gave a quick nod before exiting the room, leaving you alone.

The moment you got out of bed, your first thought was what you would wear. After all, you had no clothes, apart from the old ones you were wearing at the moment. Once again, though, Gabi came to your aid. At the corner of your bed was a basket, full of a variety of clothes. You assumed these were clothes from Gabi and her parents, due to all the size differences between them. She probably didn't know your clothing size, therefore she wanted to get a range of it.

You prepared for a new day, getting dressed and getting your basic hygiene done. Soon enough, you were completely ready, prepared to go downstairs. As you walked down the steps, the smell of burning entered through your nose, making you a bit worried.

You sighed in relief as you walked into the kitchen, just seeing Gabi, who was cooking on the stove. You took a seat, deciding to read a newspaper placed on the table. Most of the news on it was pretty useless, merely being stupid updates on the war. However, there was one section about how the Tybur family were hosting a dinner party today. Your eyes scanned the text, getting as much information as you could about the event.

"Here, I made some omelets. I may have burned it a bit though, "Gabi said, slightly chuckling.

She took a plate from a drawer, handed it to you, and placed a piece of the omlet on it. Gabi was right about it being burned, due to the bottom of the food being completely black. You appreciated the effort, though, even if the girl wasn't the best cook. You grinned at her before taking a bite of the omlet, which surprisingly didn't taste that bad.

"So.. what's with the early start?" You questioned, pointing towards the clock that read 5:00 am.

"Warrior candidates have to train pretty early. We're doing a race today, "she replied, taking a seat next to you.

"I'm not a warrior candidate though, am I?"

"I know. You still need the exercise though, "Gabi said, shoving a portion of food into her mouth.

"Very nice of you, "you mumbled, narrowing your eyes at the brunette.

"No, I didn't mean it like that. I'm just saying, everybody needs to work out from time to time. "

"Oh, I get you."

Once you both finished your food, you washed it down with some water before Gabi gathered all the plates, putting them in the sink. While she was cleaning up, you slightly opened the door, groaning in frustration once you saw the weather outside. It was slightly cold with rain pouring outside, probably being a second part of the storm yesterday.

You thought rain was pretty cool, but not the best for running miles and miles.

"Okay, let's go," Gabi spoke, running towards the closet and getting both your jackets and shoes.
