~Third Person P.O.V~
"Is there something wrong, Kura?" Ryou asked worriedly. He could tell that something was really bothering Bakura because of the strange way he was acting that day.
"Yes. There is something horribly wrong Yadonushi and I can't keep it in anymore," Bakura's voice deepened with an anger. It was a gentle anger, however. A tone he only used when he was arguing with Ryou.
Ryou's heart was beating faster and his eyes began to get watery. He was afraid of Bakura at times like these...you never know how bad Bakura's temper can get.
Little known to Ryou, Bakura's heart was being crushed from the inside out. He was nervous about his words and the last thing he wanted to do ever was upset Ryou. But he had to explain himself now before things got any more complicated.
"Yadonushi, I feel as if you are drifting away from me. It's completely unacceptable and I want Cecile out of this apartment by Monday." Bakura looked a couple inches down until he could stare into Ryou's chocolatey brown eyes.
Ryou's eyes were filled with anger and sadness and he was holding it in. He took a deep breath and looked straight into Bakura's deeper, scarier looking eyes and spoke.
"No. This is my apartment and I can choose who and what stays here. It's my life and I can choose who I let in. You can't do this to me anymore. Every time someone new comes into my life you want them out. Well maybe I want some human contact. Maybe I want to be able to meet someone and not have to worry about them disappearing 'mysteriously'. Maybe sometimes I don't want you here." Tears began to fill Ryou's eyes and he quickly turned around. He wiped the tears away and braced himself for Bakura's response.
Bakura's anger gathered more and more.
He growled and responded to Ryou's words."What a load of bullocks! Ryou, you are nothing without me!! Everything I've ever done was for you! Everything I've shown you I did out of the kindness of my heart! all-" Ryou turned around to face Bakura once again and interrupted him.
"THE KINDNESS OUT OF YOUR HEART?! Is that the same kindness that almost sent my friends to the shadow realm? Was that the same kindness that BLOODY STABBED ME IN THE ARM?! Bakura, you of all people have NO right to talk about kindness!"
Bakura stared at Ryou blankly. He never knew Ryou had so many things to say to him. He also never actually realized all the horrible things he's done to Ryou.
"Well, I'm sorry I was just trying to protect you Yadonushi. I guess I'll just leave, clearly I am not wanted here, nor was I ever wanted. Have fun with this new stranger. I hope she proves to be a better companion than I. I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused you." Bakura was holding back tears as he slowly walked out of the room.
Before he could exit, a gentle hand took his arm and turned him around.
"Wait, Kura." Ryou tried to say clearly but it came out as only a whisper.
He had no intention of holding back his tears now and he didn't care what Bakura thought of him. Now was his chance to actually tell him.
"What now? Are you not finished insulting my actions?" Bakura looked away and swiped a tear from his eye.
"I-I can't let you walk out on me. Honestly, everything I try to do in my life I try to do for you. This girl today..i thought I felt something for her bu-"
Bakura became angry again.
"But what?! you do have feelings?! Ryou I don't want to hear abou-"
Ryou let go of Bakura's arm and took a step back.
"Would you let me finish?! Everything I've done today I did because I thought you'd be okay with it. I never want to do anything that I think you wouldn't enjoy, ever! All the things I do, all the places I go to, I've only done because I was thinking of you. I-I thought you would've noticed that by now," Ryou turned his head once again to hide his falling tears, "I-I love you Bakura."
Bakura looked at Ryou's smaller body hunched over. He then began to cry.
"Yado-Ryou... I didn't know that....I-I love you, too."
Bakura walked over to where the teenager was crying and sat him on the bed. He hugged him and the two of them shared their tears. These were special tears. Ones that only occur when true love is being exposed for the first time. They shared this moment together, embracing the tight hug they both contributed to and were silent for the next moments.
Little did they know that Cecile was looking through the doorway, taking in the love and anger that filled the apartment. She gently closed the door and went into her room to think.
