I lead the way up the stairs to my apartment. I was on the third floor and i remember when i found it, i wasnt going to take it but Bakura really wanted this apartment because..well..

"HAHAHA IS THIS SERIOUSLY YOUR APARTMENT?" Cecile was laughing hysterically.

I sighed and looked up at my door. D69. Oh Bakura...

"Yes, it's my apartment. I didn't choose it though, Bakura did."

"....um...who's Bakura might I ask..?"

Oh right. She doesn't know.

"Oh..uh he's um..he's just a friend of mine," I smiled.

"Pfft, what am I to you yadonushi? Chopped liver?" Bakura told me telepathically.

"Oh, well this Bakura fellow..it seems him and me would get along pretty well," she gave the most cutest laugh I've ever heard.

I also heard Bakura laughing evilly in my head. "Heh heh. We shall see..."

I finally opened the door quickly and let Cecile inside.

"Um, why don't you make yourself at home at the table or on the couch and I'm just going to..uh be right back.." I nervously ran away to my bedroom to sort things out with Bakura.

Bakura appeared in his spirit/ghost like form. I honestly thought that was so cool. But enough of cool spirit forms, I don't want him hurting Cecile.

"Bakura please don't."

"Don't what?"

"Please please please don't hurt Cecile," I pleaded. I think I was really starting to like her and I don't want Bakura sending her to the shadow realm or anything.

He sighed sarcastically, "well, it all depends on how I think of her..after all I assume she'll be staying in that extra room of ours?"

"..how did yo-"

"Yadonushi, you're forgetting that you are me and I am you. I know what you're thinking."

"Oh. Just please don't do it today?! I really just want to get to know her without accidentally hurting her."

"It won't be accidental if I do it." He said with a smirk.

"NO!"

"Too late I'm already inhabiting your body. I will release you once I am done judging."

"WHAT WAI-"

And with that I was trapped in my soul room. I have had it! He thinks he can just control me and everyone in my life and..well...he can but that doesn't mean I want him to!

If only he understood...although I'm interested in learning more about Cecile, I still..ya know..I can't live without Bakura. He's always there, even though he might not treat me well all the time I still...ya know...care about him.

But this is not okay. I can't do anything now but watch my world crumble from the sidelines.

~Bakura's P.O.V.~

I don't really get why yadonushi is so upset about this. It's not like I haven't done something like this before. It's not even like he can have feelings for this mortal anyway, i mean they just met.

I exited the bedroom and walked to see what the big fuss was with this "Cecile" person.

"Um..Ryou are you alri-"

"I'm right here." I tried my best to do a Ryou impression. At least I have the accent.

"Oh..are you alright..? You seem um..angryish" she looked at me with the most amazing emerald colored eyes I've ever seen.

"Uhhh yeah I'm fine." I continued to stare into her eyes. I noticed a hint of pink gather on her pale cheeks.

"So..um.." She took her hat off and shook her head releasing her long, thick, deep-black hair. "I'm not exactly sure what to say at the moment...so..."

"Oh, well it's winter break right?" I honestly didn't know. In fact I thought Ryou was on winter break right now..

She giggled, "yes it is. shall we do something to celebrate?"

"Um...how about a movie?"

"Ooh that sounds great! ...but I don't know if you have the same taste in movies as I do and people usually don't watch movies with me.." She looked down. What is with this girl and the floor?

"Well as long as it isn't porn I'm sure it's fine." I was being completely serious about my point actually.

She, on the other hand, thought it was funny. I gave her a grim stare and she stopped laughing. Heh heh mortal.

"Um sorry. Its just, I fancy the horror films...my favorite movie is canniba-"

"CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST?"

"YES"

My jaw almost dropped, "I BLOODY LOVE THAT MOVIE!"
This Cecile character is proving to be more acceptable than I previously thought.

"WE SHOULD WATCH IT! DO YOU HAVE IT?"

"Of course I have the bloody movie. Now stop shouting in my apartment." I shot her another cold stare.

I heard a soft familiar voice then.
"Baaaaakkuuuurrraaaaaaa"

"Not now yadonushi. I'm busy."

"But Bakura, you're taking my new friend away from me." I heard a small whimper in Ryou's voice.

Oh Ra, how could I let that adorable voice not get what it wants.

I let Ryou out of his soul room and let him take his body back.

"So, wait Bakura," he said shyly.

"What." I didn't want to seem broken from that one whimper in his voice.

"Do you approve?"

Oh yeah. I completely forgot I was checking to see if this mortal was superior to my standards.

"Um, judgment is to be continued, enjoy your time with her Ryou." I gave him a smirk. He smiled back at me.

"One more thing Bakura," he grabbed my hand. This..um..wasn't okay.. Was it..?

"Thank you," He then gave me a hug and waved as he entered his own body again.

He's so cute when he's happy.
