The cotton on her blouse felt soft to the touch, just like her lips on mine. The exchange of saliva tasted sweet like honey. Her sweet scent of orange blossom and berries lingered through my nostrils. I didn't want this feeling of love between us to end. The whirling of the trees got intense and we looked at each other, parting our kiss. She looked the other direction and so did I. The ground shook and the leaves levitated in the air as the wind got heavier. I held onto her tightly not knowing what was going on. She looked back at me scared for her life. An invisible force snatched her out of my arms as she screamed my name then disappeared in the dark end.

I got up running towards the dark end screaming her name: "Jill!!!...Jill!!" Her cries felt close but the more I ran closer to the darkness, the further it went. I stood there bawling, knowing I was never gonna see her again until everything went blank. The beeping of the familiar monitors were loud as I slowly opened my eyes. I wished the first face I saw was hers, but it wasn't.
"Jill?" I mumbled. Michael bowed his head and shook it. I shut my eyes knowing I failed her. I swore I would protect the both of them and I failed them. The hurt I felt let a tear roll down the side of my face.
"Someone called my phone, telling me there was an incident at the house. When I got there, I was expecting to see the police there already but there was no one. I had my guard up the entire time. When I got In, all I saw was bodies and then I went into your room and you passed out on the edge of the bed and another guy on the floor. The bed was empty but filled with blood. Jill was nowhere to be found. I called 911 immediately," my brother explained.
"What do you mean she was nowhere to be found?" I mumbled confused as the pain started to take control.
"I don't know man...I checked everywhere in the house and outside to see if she slid to safety but she was gone," he explained. I firmly cuffed my fists.
"Find her! FIND HER NOW!" I yelled in rage as the monitors started beeping louder and faster. The nurses rushed in to try and calm me down until everything got blurry.
