****Erik POV****

Our mission was based in Murmansk, Russia. The task seemed simple but something felt off about this mission. It was a gut feeling. While we were on the plane, I decided to catch up with Greer.

"Man those were some good old days we had fighting in those wars together," I said. She chuckled.

"Ever since you retired, it's never been the same." I tried not to blush. "How are you gonna do it?" She asked. I shrugged.

"I haven't thought about it. The crazy part is, what if she really doesn't remember me, and knowing Marcus, since they're already brainwashing her with lies, they might pin something horrible on me. Now I understand what Raymond said. I might loose the woman I was meant to be with," I said with the tears fulling in my eyes.

"Erik that is not your fault-" Greer said.

"No no no no...but it is. If I didn't bring her to the cabin knowing very well people were trying to kill us; if I didn't go downstairs...she might of still been alive...my kid...my family."

Greer had sympathy written all over her expression.

"Either way...I'm gonna make it right," I said sitting back in my seat.

"If you ever need anything, weapons...anything, I'm a call away," she said. I nodded. The pilot called out that it was time to jump. We all got up and strapped on our gear, getting ready to jump.

When we were in the middle of the ocean, we opened up the dinghy and sailed sneakily to shore.

Once we got there, we hopped onto the van assigned for us and drove to a remote location close enough to the target.

Everyone started setting up their weapons and loading them up. I went to the window and peeked through the lens of the gun to see where they said the target was held.

I could tell Greer was burning a hole through my skull.

"I'm just looking" I said to ease her stare off of me.

Funny enough, the target looked familiar; I couldn't figure out where I knew the guy from.
