Trip to Araku

Chapter 12

The sky turned into sickening blood red and mauve.

The wind stop blowing and I shivered as the weather became intense cold as I watched my breath making little pale spirits in front of me.

I heard bone cracking noise,her neck twisted and now she's facing me.

I saw her.

I looked at her in disbelief. My voice choked in my throat. All of my thoughts muddled up in my mind, heart beat raced.

I paralyzed to the spot, the menacing aura holding me in a tightening grip.

Sweat mixed with my tears dripping down my face. I gulped.

"He-help Shahe-" My voice escaped from mouth thin and high barely audible.

Abruptly,The call ended up producing a high pitch noise.

The phone slipped from my hand.

Her evil eyes piercing my soul while a deadly smirk appeared on her lips as if she caught her prey.

I took two small steps backward and attempt to run but slipped and fell on the ground.

Bruises covered my skin surface.

I dragged my body backwards as she moved closer to me. Snarling.

Quickly, I stood up and ran with all of my left out strength.

A Wave of pain stab my ankle continuously as I ran, but I ignored.

My breath came in quick painful pants and my heart pumps thunderously.

I kept running for my life but after some time i ran out of breath and looked behind luckily she was not there.

After running minutes in forest my heart relieve when I saw the hotel garden.

"I-I am almost there." I mumbled to myself in assurance, heavily panting and crying out of terror mixed with hope.

Hope that I will live.

That I am safe.

Everything is going to be alright as I'll meet friends.

To make sure that she's not following my trail I looked back and a small smile played on my lips as I didn't see her.

I sighted in relief.

But it didn't last longer when I turned back I saw her just infront of me.

My luck left my side.

I choked and struggled to breath as her sinful hand gripped my neck. My lungs agonise for air . My eyes rolled backwards as her grip tightened on my throat.

I saw death in cold darkness hugging me warmly.

A last tear escape my eye.

But something happened and I fell on ground with a loud thud. Coughing and panting.

Quickly, I stood and tried to move further but she fiercely grip my leg, dig nails inside my flesh slowly tearing it apart, warm crimson blood dripping down my wounds. She dragged me deep into the woods.

I screamed out of my lungs.

Author pov

"It's been long. Where is Shivanshi?" Sangeeta asked.

Silence took over when phone started ringing.

Amanat immediately answered. It was from shivanshi.

Amanat sight before speaking "Shivanshi said that she's feeling tired and having a headache so she wanted to rest in her room."

"Can we eat now? I'm dying from hunger." Angel said and everyone nodded while laughing at her childish acts.
