Muskaan's pov

Softly splashing water droplets hit the car windows as we drive onwards. The skies are overhung with a blanket of grey, the rain commonly calms me - I watch raindrops race down to the windows.

Later the rain became harsh and heavy downpour started when the icy grey sky restlessly grumbled. The thick blackened clouds were dragged down by the heavy rain which it held in its delicate frame. The clouds which struggled to withstand the burden of the weight which the rain held, soon gave in. The rain poured down with a roar. The sound of emptiness was disrupted by the loud ear piercing boom of thunder.

Everyone was sleeping on each other and some snoring continuously.

Angel was on the right side of the seat leaning on window , Vanita in the middle rested her one foot on Lavanya's face and other on Shivanshi's lap and last but not least Shahenaz leaned on Sangeeta's shoulder.

The whole car was asleep except me, Sangeeta and my sister.

Amanat was driving the car and I was sitting on passenger busy playing PUBG with Sangeeta which I lost fourth time in a row today.

I know that sucks.

"Today's children are addicted to this stupid game." Amanat muttered shaking her head.

Luckily ,the distance between us and hotel was not much now as I had saw the board stating "WELCOME TO ARAKU" a couple of minutes ago.

It was getting darker outside making things less visible and I don't know from where this fog started coming.

Strange.

Something caught my eye when I took a glance outside the window.

The place looked like a graveyard. Darkness drenched it , even the sound of insects hasn't been heard.

After few seconds outside the window I saw a woman.

She was wearing white, skin as pale as a corpse, wet hairs covering half of her face, standing on the side of the road carrying her baby in her hands maybe she's stuck in this harsh weather and waiting for a lift.

"Hey!Look". I shouted pointing my sharp finger outside gaining both of their attention.

"Amanat stop the car I think she needs help. " I said tapping on her lap while my sister and Sangeeta nodded in agreement.

We drive past her because the pace of the car was quite fast so it took some time to get slow down.

The booming radio suddenly abrupt in between, producing a ear piecing sharp noise and the lights began to flicker inside.

I turned it off quickly.

Weird.

Immediately ,Amanat pulled the break, car halted in a distance from her and then we were about to change the gear to turn the car back to her.
