"Okay! Take care." Amanat hung up the call.

"What did they say?" Lavanya asked getting out of the bed.

"They will come late as their car tire punctured. Luckily, they got a mechanic but It'll take time to repair it. "

"What about you? How are you feeling now?" Amanat asked out of concern.

"A lot better, thanks to you," Lavanya replied smiling.

"Hey! No thank you, no sorry. Don't you know friendship rules?"

"Okay, Lav it's past 9 now so, go to your bed and sleep. Take some rest. "

Lav heard a knock on the door.

She got up from her bed and opened the door but found no one. She thought that maybe she misheard and shut the door behind.

In the halfway to bed, she heard another knock. She opened the door but found no one again.

"Hello, Anyone here",  she moved her head from left to right but no one was there in the corridor except dark silence.

She closed the door again and waited for few seconds there.

Another knock came on the door, Lav immediately opened it but found nobody.

"Amanat is this you? Because this is not funny at all. Okay!"

Her pulse quicken with fear. With sweaty shaky hands, she closed the door slowly.

A short scream escaped her mouth when the windows which were open bang and curtains blow due to strong wind.

"It's just a window." She sighed in relief while resting a palm on her heart. She swiftly locked the window.

As Lav turned around she saw someone sitting on her bed. A woman who wrapped arms around her knees, wearing white, skin as pale as a corpse and hairs falling on her face. 

Lav froze in her position her body became cold and her heartbeat fasten. She opened her mouth to scream but her voice choked in her throat.

After a few seconds, she gathered some courage and asked, W-who a-re y-you?

But the woman remained silent.

Quickly, Lav ran towards the door and open it and was about to get out but she felt hands on her shoulder pushing her into the room. She screamed but it was too late.

She fell and heard the door shut behind her. The room plunged into darkness and became very quiet except for her heavy breathing. She tried getting up, but something was pinning her down.

She cried "help", but her voice was just not coming out. She managed to get to her feet, and tried to unlock the door, but it jammed.

She cried helplessly tears streaming down her cheeks.

She frightened and was scared. Her mind became blank and body numb in fear.

When Lav turned around the woman was not on the bed. Her eyes wander around to search . She found her when she peered her sight on the top from where she heard bone cracking noise.

She was on the ceiling wall,on her four limbs crawling.

With an inhuman speed, she crawled down the wall with a twisted head and feet.

Lav screamed............
