Amanat's pov

I closed the door behind me and walked inside my room. Then I entered the bathroom to take a warm shower and relax.

I stood in front of the mirror looking at myself. I wiped the steam from the mirror to have a clear view.

My face looked dark and dull as I was exhausted, I splashed some water on my face to energise it.

I looked into the mirror and I startled as there was red fluid all over my face.

Lights began to flicker and instead of water, crimson fluid started flowing from the tap.

Suddenly I found my reflection in the mirror turning her head back to look at me. It began to move on its own. She had sinister eyes and a creepy smirk on her face.

The way she looked at me gave me chills down my spine. Meanwhile, I felt some fluid streaming down my neck.

As I touched it I saw blood on my fingertips. My neck began to bleed heavily and a note written with red appeared on the mirror "EVERYONE WILL DIE".

My reflection's laughter thrived and her eyes started bleeding but she continued laughing. It was horrifying.

Being terrified I tried to run but I tripped and fell on the floor.

My phone started to ring. I quickly grabbed and answered it as it was from Muskaan.

"Hey, sister thankfully the mechanic repaired our car so we will arrive in one hour. Okay!"

"Amanat are you there?" Muskaan asked breaking the minute's silence.

"Y-ye-yeah I am here."

"Are you okay?" Her voice softens.

"Just wait a minute", I replied as I got up from the floor and with some courage, I looked into the mirror to check it for the second time and found everything normal.

No note, no blood, nothing.

Everything was fine, my face, my neck and the tap water were normal too.

After calming down, I thought maybe I  had an illusion as I forgot to take my pills and I didn't take a nap since morning.

"Amanat?Everything alright?" Muskaan asked.

"Yeah, everything is fine it's just a headache that I am having now."

"There are some medicines in my room , take some."

"Take care. Okay bye."

Maybe these are the side effects of not sleeping.

My chain of thoughts broke when I heard Lav screaming. I slammed the door hurriedly sprinted towards her room.

As I entered Lav's room there was no sign of her. I became tensed and anxiety ate me half from inside as it grew every second.

"Lav where are you? Lav?" I shouted being restless.

"Lavanya?"

Suddenly, the bathroom door opened and Lav came out.

I quickly hugged her." Are You okay? Why did you scream?"

"I didn't scream and I am perfectly fine. Look!" Lav calmly answered.

"Sister You probably misheard, look at yourself you look so exhausted I think you should take some rest". Lav insisted.

"Don't worry sister I am here now everything's gonna be fine. "
