I woke up on the ground, firing all around. Everything was a blur. Using my arms to lift myself up I groaned looking at the body next to me. It was the shifted one, the one that shifted. He was human now holding onto his leg. I looked at him and quickly backed away. "Luna." something growled. I gasped turning around and seeing a huge wolf. I got up and moved away from it. It followed my every step. I turned on my heal and ran.
"Tyler!" I saw my dad and ran towards him. "Come on let's run!" he called everyone else that was around. Our truck was in our reach. I went inside and the others boarded the back. They shot at the wolves as they tried to come at us.
Howels filled the woods as we drove at full speed away. "What was that!?"
"They were werewolves. Yes they exist and yes that was a pack. We need to get away from them before they find us. This vacation is over. Tyler I was so worried about you!" I hugged Kaleb, kissing him.
"I was so scared but I'm glad you guys came for me. Didn't think I'd see you guys again." I told him.
"Of course we came to look for you." I smiled as he pulled me to his chest. We all heard howels going through the trees as we made it back to the city. My siblings were on full alert. Keeping those things away. Who would have thought they actually existed. I sure as hell didn't know.
"Did they hurt you in any way?" Kaleb asked me. I shook my head.
"No, they actually took care of me and everything."
"Don't be fooled by them. They'll do all it takes to get on your good side. Okay?"
"Yeah I get it. But I'm just glad it's all over now. We're all safe. I'm hungry now." I complained.
"Yeah we're getting some snacks for the road. We have it all packed." I nodded laying back on Kaleb and closing my eyes. This will be a long ride. But the next second it all went to hell.
