Everything had been fun and roses until me and Harry had to decide what college we would we go to.

I had the chance to go to the University of New York, but Harry wanted to stay in California. I didn't want to fight so I simply dropped the subject at the moment.

We would speak of it tonight at a restaurant downtown. It was also the one year anniversary of when we first met. My first day at Santa Cruz High school was one year ago today. Wow, time passes real fast.

I go to Harry's house, and we then make our way to the restaurant. It was kind of chilly, I had on a white blouse and a black skirt and Harry had a pretty fancy looking dark blue shirt, oh.. and can't forget to mention that his hair was actually combed!

Harry started driving, and it was completely silent. I simply looked out the window, the sky looking like a canvas, the pink and orange all over the sky. These sunsets were always the best.

Even though we would be kind of celebrating the date we met tonight, I knew there would be some fighting. I felt it coming, considering what the topic is.

"I love you," I heard him whisper.

I turn to him and give him a small smile. "I love you too," I take a grasp of his hands, as our fingers intwine.

We get to the restaurant, and I'm glad when we get there as I see it isn't that fancy, and I thank god. I'd much rather be at this small place eating a big ass plate of food, then be at a place full of snobby rich people.

We enter, and a smile takes over my face as I see the place from the inside. Some couples are even standing, and dancing to the slow song.

A sit down at any table, but get pulled up by Harry as he smiles and tells me that we have a table reserved for us.

I furrow my eyebrows but stand up, and follow Harry and an old lady who Harry is following. We get to a big brown door and the lady opens it, as we step in.

There is just one table in the whole room, and the table in the middle is set up for two. We make our way to the table.

Harry pulls my chair back, and I sit down. I smile, but I honestly have no words. There are candles on the table, and roses on the floor. I'm speechless.

The old lady takes our order, and she leaves.

"So?" Harry asks, a big smile on his face.

"This.. is perfect." I smile.

"Ok, good." He smiles, and after some minutes of making small chit chat about how we've enjoyed each other's presence the last year. Notice I didn't say company because we haven't exactly spent the whole year together.. and I know I don't have to explain why.

Once our food gets to us, we eat.. and I can't keep myself from moaning a tad after the first bite. This is magic. Food is magic. Food is life.

"So I'm guessing you liked it?" Harry chuckled.

"This lasagna is the love of my life now, sorry baby." I laugh, and he smiles as well.

"Baby? You've never called me that." He smiles, taking a bite from his fettuccine Alfredo.

"You call me that.. I will too." I smile.

"Okay, babe." He chuckles.

After we're done with our food, Some music softly starts playing, and I don't recognize the song. Which is weird because I basically live listening to music.

"Wanna dance, baby?" Harry asks.

"I don't dance," I laugh.

"I don't either," He smiles, and grabs my hand standing up, me standing up as well.
