4. STALKER

Eunha was still waiting near the entrance. Luckily it was the winter break so she didn't have to worry about her university.

"Sir, it's past your working hours" Huening Kai's secretary knocked on his cabin's door and informed him. He knew that Eunha might be outside waiting for him so he decided to work overtime to avoid her. "I need to look into some documents so I'll work for some more time, you may go home" he said without lifitng his head, looking into the files. "Okay sir, I'll be leaving" the secretary bowed and left.

The sun had already set and it was getting more cold. "He usually gets off from work...why isn't he coming out? Did he leave early?" Eunha mumbled. She tried to keep herself warm as she shivered in cold. She pulled over her hoodie and rubbed her palms to keep herself warm.

"It's getting colder...she must've left already" saying this Huening Kai packed his things and got ready to leave. He was about to open the door of his car but his eyes landed on a small figure sitting on a bench. "Moon Eunha?" he took a guess at the person and the girl lifted her head to see the person who called her out. "Oh y-you're f-finally here" she could barely speak as she was shivering and her body was almost numb due to the harsh cold.

"Are you crazy? You should've left already" he raised his voice a little as he was worried about the girl. He took out his muffler and wrapped it around her neck. "W-what are you doing?" Eunha said as her eyes widened. "I'm just trying to warm up an idiot girl who is uselessly stubborn" he said shaking his head. "Come, I'll drop you to your home" he said opening the car door for her and she just stood there in shock at his behaviour. "What are you doing? Get in" he said. "No, I can't trust you" she took a step back. "Look I'm serious, you sat outside in cold waiting for me, and it's really late so let me drop you, I insist" he said in a gentle tone. "Okay" saying she sat inside. Eunha told him the address and Huening Kai drove towards her home. He turned on the heater which made Eunha's cold body turn back to normal temperature.

There was an awkward silence until he decided to break it. "At this rate people might assume you as a stalker" he chuckled. "You didn't leave me any other option" she glared at him. "You should stop this or I may really charge you for stalking" he said in a mocking tone. "But I don't follow you to every place you go!" she roared. "Still, I can file a lawsuit against you, you know that I'm a lawyer" he winked. "Ah right! A lawyer with no sense of judgement" she rolled her eyes. "Sassy huh" he looked at her and their eyes met. 'He looks charming when he smiles' Eunha said to herself. She turned away her face as she realised what she just thought. 'Have you lost your mind? But he even gave me his muffler and sometimes the way he talks is really gentle. But he's a jerk...a soft hearted jerk' without realising she smiled to herself as she looked out of the window. 'No, don't forget how he broke your trust and didn't reveal the video due to which dad ended up in prison' this made her smile fade.

"Your house is a bit far" Huening Kai said, his eyes fixed on the road. "Yes, sorry for troubling you" Eunha replied. "No I wasn't complaining...it was just really quiet so I was trying to start a conversation again" he chuckled. "Do you have a boyfriend?" he added which took the girl by surprise. "No...not yet" she hesitantly replied. "Really? You don't have a boyfriend?" he asked again. "Do I have to have a boyfriend?" she chuckled. "Well, you are charming...in an idiotic way so I thought you might have one" he smirked. "Charming in an idiotic way? You are unbelievable...and such a flirt" she rolled her eyes. "Ouch, you really have no filter" he said acting like he's hurt.

"What about you? Currently you are single, right?" she asked with a smirk. "Woah how do you know? Did you dig up some information about me?" He widened his eyes in surprise. "If you had one then you wouldn't have flirted with other girls" she chuckled. "I had a few in the past but none of the relationships worked out and now I'm busy with my work" he added. "You look like the type who has a lot of experience in dating" she said. "You really know how to diss someone without making it obvious" he sighed and the girl just smiled. They continued to talk about random things.

"You can stop there near the black gate" the girl said pointing towards her home.

"Thank you so much for today" Eunha said as she removed her seatbelt. "I enjoyed your company, it was nice talking to you" said Huening Kai which made her blush a little. "I see...and...go safely and thank you once again" she said as she got out of the car. "Sure, goodbye!" "Bye!"
