10. GRADUATION

Time flew, three months had passed in the blink of an eye. Eunha was busy with her finals and Huening Kai was busy with his court cases. The two would always think of each other, Eunha who wasn't sure of her feelings always shook away her thoughts while Huening Kai who liked her, no...loved her always wondered if she was doing well. But both of them waited for their next meeting.

Mr. Moon lost his previous job as Park Jin Young was arrested and the company went bankrupt. However he didn't want to continue working so Mr and Mrs. Moon opened a coffee shop in the neighborhood, as the father had an intense love for caffeine.

2nd March 2021

Finally it was the day of graduation. Eunha dressed up and her parents drove her to the university. "Moon Eunha, here" said Lee Minseo who saved a seat for her.

Soon, the ceremony began with the principal's speech. His speech continued for a few minutes. A professor walked towards the podium as the principal left. "Thank you principal for your words of guidance. Now I would like to welcome our alumni who are the chief guests of today's event. Choi Yeonjun, the founder of the fashion label Run Up and the youngest person in Asia to do so" said the teacher and the fashion design department was left in shock to see their inspiration including Eunha. The professor continued "Choi Soobin, the owner of the franchise cafe The Bread, whose journey began with a simple bread shop. Next we have Choi Beomgyu, the rising star in music industry who has attracted the youth with his melodious voice, guitar skills and his charming personality. Next is Kang Taehyun, a dedicated and brave detective who fights for justice and truth and has caught a number of dangerous criminals and gangs. Last but not the least, Kai Kamal Huening who is a lawyer and provides justice to people with his strong sense of judgement"

Hearing his name again made Eunha's heart beat faster. She didn't expect to see him here. She was internally screaming to meet him again. "Eunha I gotta say, you guys are definitely detined" said Lee Minseo who was also surprised to see him.

Students were called one by one on the stage. The alumni were seated in the front row along with the principal and other important guests.

When it was the turn of fashion design department, a smile appeared on Huening Kai's face as it reminded him of Eunha. "Moon Eunha" the professor called out her name and she rushed to the stage to take her degree. When she walked down the stage her eyes met with Huening Kai's and she smiled to him.

"What a coincidence...you guys meet again!" Taehyun whispered to Huening Kai. "Isn't she the girl I assumed to be your girlfriend?" Soobin whispered. "Am I the only one who has no idea of what's going on?" Yeonjun furrowed his eyebrows. "Me too hyung" Beomgyu replied. "I... I'll explain after the ceremony" Huening Kai said. "For now let me tell you that she's the girl that Huening Kai is head over heels for" Taehyun said to the three boys who were surprised to hear that and gave him teasing looks. The five boys knew each other from their college days and have been great friends since then.

The ceremony ended and all the students began taking pictures with their friends and family. Eunha took many pictures with her family, Lee Minseo and her classmates but her eyes kept looking for someone.

"Looking for me?" Someone tapped her shoulder from behind. Eunha recognised his voice and felt a wave of happiness. "Hey! I didn't know that you graduated from here" she said with a huge smile on her face. "Even I had no idea that you studied here" Huening Kai chuckled. "Congratulations on your graduation" Huening Kai said as he handed her a cute penguin plushie. "Aww thanks this is so cute! But people usually give bouquets" she chuckled. "I know, that's why I decided to bring something different" he replied. "I loved it...thanks. But did you buy it right now? Is that why you left as soon as the ceremony ended?" She asked and he nodded.

Lee Minseo cleared her throat to indicate that she and their families were still there. "I apologise for the late introduction, I'm Kai Kamal Huening. Nice to meet you all" he said. "Nice to meet you again Mr. Huening" Mr. Moon said. "Thank you so much for your help" said Mrs. Moon. "You really don't have to thank me" he said smiling.

"You already know my parents, here are Mr and Mrs. Lee, my uncle and aunt and that's my cousin and best friend Lee Minseo" she introduced them. "I've heard a lot about you from Eunha, it's good to finally see you in person" Minseo teased and Eunha glared at her. "Nice to meet you too...can I take Eunha with me for some time? Someone wants to meet her" Huening Kai said hesitantly. "Sure, take your time" Mrs. Moon said. "Thank you" Huening Kai said and grabbed Eunha's wrist to lead her. "Where are we going? Who wants to talk to me?" She asked, still holding the penguin. "You'll know once you see" he smiled widely.
