Sunghoon's POV

"Okay how about on Friday?" Jake, my best friend asks me as we went for a jog

"I told you Jakey I can't on Friday," I said as I run along with him. Sweat falling as I try to catch my breath

"Oh c'mon, Layla's a good girl, she's easy to take care of! I'll be gone for half a day, you won't even feel it!" Jake persuaded, wanting me to take care of his dog.

I halt from my run and drank water to keep myself hydrated

"You know I'll do the same for Gaeul" he pouted

I stared at the man and sighed "Okay fine I'll look after her but I can't on Friday, I'm free on Tuesday though"

"That will work" he cheered and high fived me "I knew you'd come around"

Jake and I have been friends since we were kids. We may have different personalities but somehow we click and I treasure our friendship.

"What's your plans on Friday anyway?"

"I have a date" I smirked

Jake rolled his eyes and shook his head "That's the 3rd this week"

"Still not used to it?" I asked

"Nope" I laughed at his response

"You know you should try going on dates too. I can hit you up with a girl if you want"

"Pass"

"Have a little fun!"

"Then break her heart afterward? No thank you" he declined

"Jake look at you! you're smart, handsome, kind, you're the total package! Anyone would fall for you" I complimented

"Imagine the number of girls you'd pick with that handsome face"

"Can we stop with this?" he whined "Just enjoy your fun, leave me out of it" he pleaded

"Okay fine. just so you know, you're missing out" I put my arms around him as we walked to get breakfast

I entered my house and was headed for the shower right away.

I'm all sweaty from the run and a cold shower is what I need right now. Plus school starts in an hour so I have to get ready.

"Son, come over here" my dad called in which my jaw clenched

I rolled my eyes and made my way to his office which I just passed

"What do you want?" I asked, bored

"Is that any way to speak to your father?"

Damn, I never wanted to speak to you in the first place. You should be glad I even responded

I cleared my throat "How can I help you?" I asked calmer now.

"I attended your PTA meeting yesterday and I just received some very interesting news"

"Didn't ask, don't care"

My dad glared at me but later composed himself

"I just learned of a girl in your school" he smiled

So he's going after teenagers now? I scoffed

"You're saying the 'interesting news' is a girl?" I laughed "I guess it's true when they say the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree" I smirked
