Sunhee's POV
I returned to class feeling a little funny.
Sunghoon's little performance earlier was something I didn't expect. The trouble he must have gotten himself into is so amusing to me.
It's exciting thinking of the other plans he has stored.
After realizing I was starting to lose focus in class, I immediately compose myself and began to intently listen
"Okay so now that we're on the topic of gaining confidence, how about we compliment our classmates to boost their self-esteem. shall we?" our teacher suggested in which the class responded positively.
"Let's start with Kai" everyone smiled at the mention of the name
"Kai is fun to be around!"
"He can be a crackhead but he brightens up the mood" Kai looked around and stood up thanking the class.
I didn't have anything to say but I couldn't agree more with the class' words of affirmation.
"Next" Sir spoke intending that it's Kai's seat mate's turn, Minji.
"Minji's smart and confident"
"She's caring and helpful!"
More like the opposite, I thought to myself as I hear more compliments from the class.
Minji hates my guts for I don't know what. She's all smiley to other people but when it comes to me she's suddenly the devil.
"She's amazing!"
Plastic. That's what she is
"Okay, this is great! Let's move to the next one" my teacher spoke once more and so it was a turn after turn until it was mine.
"It's Sunhee's turn. Class, you may start" our teacher leaned back waiting for someone to speak.
No one did. Everyone was silent.
I took a deep breath and took a sip from my water. I expected this.
"She's hardworking" a girl spoke. I halt.
The whole class turned their heads to the girl and so did I.
I squint my eyes trying to figure out who she was.
The girl noticed all the stares and so she was hesitant to say what she wanted to say next
"She's.. she's very pretty" she continued
"She's- ah, there's a word for that..Oh! right! she's elegant and proper" she smiled widely as if she was talking about her favorite person
"Sunhee's good in everything she does and I think that's her greatest charm yet"
The whole class made a face, disagreeing with her, while I was at a loss for words.
My heart warmed at that as this was the first in a long time that anyone has said those to me.
After the activity ended it was time for us to prepare for our PE class. Before I could do so I took this opportunity to approach the girl earlier.
