Once we made it inside Pa-Angelo left to get the boys ready for dinner. He left Dom to show me to my room. We went up the stairs to the second floor in a tense silence. I could see he wanted to say something but I'm sure his big ego was in the way.

"Rooms are from oldest to youngest. Dad, Enzo, Gino and I are on the left side of the hallway while the others are on the other side." He said till we got to a singular door.

Keeping up the act I looked at him weird. Muttering a "Who?"

"Your brothers. You will meet them soon. Dinner is in an hour so you can freshen up." He said before opening the door to a beautiful room.

It was simple a bed in the center. Bookshelf in the corner and some doors. I liked it.

I turned back around giving him a nod before l walked fully into the room. I went to the first door and saw it was a closet so I dropped my suitcases off. I walked out of the closet to see Ares and Artemis lying on the couch by the books.

"I like what you're thinking my babies" I muttered with a ghost of a smile. They were both cuddled up almost asleep.

I laid down on the bed facing my dogs. I was quite tired but it was harder for me to go to sleep. When your mind is filled with demons that like ti come out its harder to give them control.

You lose all of that control if you are asleep. And losing control is not an option for me. I remember when it was an option. I could sleep without demons. Walk around without trying to hold my breath. Focus on not lashing out with my growing temper. Not have to look around every few minutes to make sure no one if following me.

I guess you don't appreciate what you have till you lose it.

I closed my eyes hoping to get at least some sleep before tonight.

The second they came into the room I woke up. I have always been a light sleeper. Another thing embedded into my mind that will never leave.

I could hear their footsteps moving from the door to my side of the bed. I could feel their energy. Their mind, their thoughts, them in general. I always thought these powers were a curse. I still think that they are if we are being honest. Being able to feel everyone around you. Know their thoughts, emotions, energy. It's suffocating.

I felt them crouch down in front of me, yet I stayed still.

"Bambina wake up" I recognized the voice as Angelo said.

I slowly open my eyes to see my fathers dark brown stare into my forest green ones. I sit up creating distance between us acting tired. Once I felt he believed it I put my emotionless face back on.

A look flashed in his eyes once he saw. He tried to hide it but right now I knew him better than he knew himself. I could feel it. Sadness.

"Everyone is downstairs for dinner. Freshen up and then come down." He said before giving me a small nod and walking out the door.
