The Khanna family had a peaceful dinner together that night after the wedding day. Purvi, just like everyone else, was going to her room for the day to end by falling asleep. Only, when she entered kavin's room, which had now become hers, she was welcomed with a surprise waiting there for her.
The door opened for her to step on a pavement created by rose petals, as the room was lit with scented candles that also filled the air with a sweet aroma. She walked through the pavement to get hold of her husband who she knew was behind this, but he was nowhere in her sight. Only for the sneaky kavin to hug her from behind, leaving a nice finishing touch to the surprise.
'surprise..' he whispered in her ear, still remaining in the hug.
She let out a small chuckle, as she turned such that now she was facing him, and wrapped her arms around his neck.
'iss sab ki kya zaroorat thi?' asked purvi, as she was still mesmerised by the beauty of the room.
'well, you can't travel right now...' said kavin as they both looked at her stomach, the reason for her travel restrictions.
'toh honeymoon na sahi, honeymoon suite type hi bana diya maine iss kamre ko...' he remarked with that smile of his, that you would die for.
'abhi na sahi, kabhi na kabhi toh kahi leke jaana hi padega kahi tumhe...' replied purvi playfully.
'arre aapke aadesh ki der hai, bas le jayenge aapko...' he remarked as they shared a chuckle.
They were happy to reach at a happy place after a rocky journey.

Ishita came out of the bathroom after changing to her nightgown, only to find dushyant, still working on his laptop.
'dushyant, ab der ho rahi hai, kitna kaam karenge?' said ishita as she too seated herself in the bed next to him.
While dushyant, rather than actually replying, simply signalled just one minute more, as his gaze didn't lift at all from the laptop.
'15 min pehle apne kaha tha bas do minute aur...' remarked ishita, only to no avail as he was still working.
'hmm.' He replied, shamelessly.
Ishita looked at him with a 'iska kuch nahi ho sakta' waala look. That turned out to be helpful as only after a few seconds, he shut off his laptop, and looked up to her,
'haan, kya keh rahi thi tum?' he asked, as ishita just looked at him, completely appalled.
'aapka kuch nahi ho sakta..' she remarked.
'kya!' exclaimed a clueless dushyant.
'good night!' she announced as she went to sleep.
'arre par maine kya kiya?' asked a puzzled dushyant.
'mera dimaag kharab!' she replied as she pulled the sheet away from, and closer to herself.
He kept the laptop aside, as he lied down near her, with his one arm wrapped around her waist and his head resting on her shoulder.
'sorry, ishita..' he apologised softly, as a smile crept up on her face.
'hmm...' She said as she composed herself, trying to look a little mad and imitating his tone.
'toh nahi maanogi?' he asked playfully, knowing exactly what she was doing.
'hmm...' she replied in agreement.
'pakka?' he asked with a naughty smile on his face.
'hmm.' She agreed, ready for it.
But she was totally not ready for a merciless tickling, as she roared in laughter.
'dushyant-dush-yant—bas...hahahaha, arre—haha-maan gayi..'
He stopped when she said those words, as now he was on top of her, and their gaze met,
'maan gayi..' she said, with a smile still there from the roar of laughter she had.
His gaze got intense, as he brushed his hands across her cheek. He got closer, such that the tip of their noses met, they shut their eyes, feeling each other's hot breaths onto them.
It was the perfect end to a long day.

A few hours before...
Ishita took off her earrings at the dressing table as dushyant lied on the bed letting out a huge sigh.
'finally, tujhse phir mulaqaat hui...' said dushyant as he turned to his left side, brushing his hands across the bedsheet.
'dushyant..' said ishita, after she chuckled lightly at him.
While he opened his eyes to look upto her.
'aapko kuch batana tha..' she said as she seated herself on the bed, and he got up to sit.
'haan bolo na..'
'i quit my job today...' she stated, as he glanced at her, waiting for an explanation.
'main aaj subha hi gayi thi, purvi ke paas jaane se pehle..'
Flashback:
'ishita, dekho, i'm just being practical na. Abhi dekho shaadi ke baad hi pehle kitni chuttiyan ho gayi tumhari, upar se tum rehti bhi in-laws ke saath ho, aur tumhe pata hai kya hi attitude hota hai unka apni bahu ki job ko lekar...and phir bachon ke baad toh kya hi tumhe naukri karne denge...' explained kavita, as ishita now knew, she really wasn't going to work at such a place.
'seriously? That's just ridiculous..' said dushyant, totally annoyed.
'hmm, par yahan kaam karna pehle majboori thi, ghar pe ek stable income ki zaroorat jo thi. But, ab woh majboori nahi hai, purvi kaam karna shuru karne waali hai and maa ke liye alimony is more than sufficient. Sach kahoon toh, the only times i hated my job, was mostly due to the fact ki mar sar pe koi baitha rehta tha order dene ke liye har waqt..' she paused as she looked down for a while, only to look up to him again with conviction this time,
'i always wanted to go freelance, and now i can, so i just really want to give it a shot.' She continued, as he smiled looking at how the shy ishita he met had become so confident.
'i don't see why you should not then.' He responded as a huge smile crept on her face.
It was time that she got what she wanted, and luck wasn't going to be a problem this time
