Chapter 9

"What happen with you ?" My manager ask me.

I look at him, "I got the nightmare again." I told him.

He look at me, surprised. "How ?"

"I don't know. Last night, I saw my mom and dad...but this time Aslan is there too." I said

"That's why you got restless and worried." He said

I nod my head, "I can't imagine if the nightmare came again." I said.

"You should looking for a help." He said to me.

I let my breath out, "I can't let people know what I'm struggling with." I said hopelessly.

"They will looking at me with a pity and I can't stand it."

"At least you need someone that you can talk to."

I walked towards my door, when my phone buzzed. I look at it and found Aslan call me. "Hello..."

"Are you home yet ?" He ask me

"Yeah, why ?"

"Let's have a drink." He said.

Aslan and his alcohol intake.

I agree with his offer because I feel like I couldn't sleep tonight due to the nightmare.

Another nightmare come. I see my parent on their car, unconscious. I know this is not real but seeing them like this, still make me want to rip my own life.

I see Aslan this time, but he is full of blood and he can't stand rightly. His left foot seems turning to a weird angle. He look at me sadly, scared. "Mila...help me." He said to me quietly.

I look at my parent and then him. Do I really need to choose between them ?

"I can't..." I said panicking, my whole body shaking badly.

Someone shook me, I quickly open my eyes. The terror still there. "Mila! Hey, hey...wake up..everything is fine..wake up. It's just a dream."

I follow the voice and I found Aslan next to me. Hugging me while saying a soothing words to me. I hug him back and this time, I can't stop my tears.

I'm crying like a baby into his body, "Mila, did you got this nightmare frequently?" He ask me.

I nodded my head. "Sshh, it's okay. It's not real though..You are okay." He said to me.

I wipe my tears and try to catch more air. My lungs feels like burning. Aslan leaving me for a while and comeback to my room with a glass of water.

He give me the glass and I took it. "Drink it slowly. I could make you some tea ?" He ask me.

I shook my head, No. "I'm good. I look a mess, am I ?" I ask him.

He smile at me, "It's a normal thing if you just got up from having a nightmare." He said to me.

We don't say anything for a while. "Mila..."

I look at him, "Asked away, Aslan." I said to him.

"The nightmare..how long ?" He ask me.

It's four in the morning. "I've been having them like a year after my parent's death. Then, I got some help to manage the nightmare. It's rarely came again until yesterday." I said.

Aslan now took a place beside me. "Is your parent there ?"

I nod my head, "At first yeah. It seems like I've been there with them and I can't do anything to save them...But yesterday, the nightmare it's not only about them.."

I look away from him, "Did someone there too ?"

I nod my head.

"Who ?" He ask me.

"It's you. Aslan, you are there." I told him.

I know you guys probably hate me because I haven't updated any new chapter...

But please give me another shot for this...I will do more updates for today..probably there will be around three new chapter for today and also, I think I will make Paradox as a short story one..

It could be only 15 chapters or maybe 20 chapters..but let see guys 🧐🧐
