Chapter 24 : Finally At Home

𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

It didn't took us long enough to get me out of the hospital, as of now Levi's driving me back to my place.

"By the way, when Eren called, he said that he wanted to talk to you about a project at Science," I reminded him. "Oh yeah r- right, that project" he nervously spoke, then focused back on driving.

"We're almost there" he said. "I see" I replied.

I haven't thought of what to do when I get back home. I can also read some books, but I'm totally not in the mood of reading right now. Maybe can Levi stay and-

"You okay?" Levi asked with a worried tone. "I'm fine. I was just wondering if you would like to stay in my house, to maybe hangout a bit more?"

His boring expression soon turned into a nervous look. He didn't bother to answer for a bit, 'til he did.

"I have some important things to do" he answered. "More important than hanging out with me?" I asked in an offensive way. He seemed to be offended of what I said, I realized that it was too much to ask.

"S- sorry, I'm being too clingy now, eh...?" I said in a questioning tone and chuckled to make things less awkward. He haven't answered my question. His eyes just widened.

My gaze left him and turned to the opposite direction. I focused on the people walking with their dogs, or with their friends.

I closed my eyes, then my mind started processing about what just happened. After the 'is it more important than hanging out with me' conversation, it was really quiet. No one bothered talking, Levi still haven't answered my question.

I felt the car stop moving so I opened my eyes. "We're here," I felt a tap on my shoulder and almost jumped. I nodded and opened the car door. I closed it, and before I started walking away I turned back to Levi. I sighed.

"You can now go and do whatever that important thing is" I said, then started walking away. To my surprise, Levi grabbed my wrist which made me stop walking and turn around.

"Armin, if you want me to come inside then I will" he said, I smiled a little and nodded. We both started walking to the front door.

I placed a soft knock, we waited for a bit then someone started unlocking the door and opened it, it was Mikasa.

"Armin!" Mikasa yelled then hugged me tight. After awhile she finally let go of me then gave me a huge smile.

"I'm so glad to know you're awake now" she said. "Hey Levi" she waved at Levi. "Hey" he spoke back. She stepped aside to let us in.

I took a look around and nothing much had changed, except for some furnitures that had been moved and switched.

"Eren, Armin is here!" She yelled, Eren went down the stairs and excitedly ran to me.

Before he hugged, he stopped and his gaze left me. I followed where the direction of his gaze went, and to my surprise, it was at Levi. Meanwhile, when I looked at Levi, his eyes were staring at Eren's too.

"D- did you something happened between you two?" I asked, they then gave their attention to me.

"Nothing, just surprised to see Levi here" Eren spoke, while rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah, nothing" Levi said. I nodded slowly and hugged Eren. He wrapped his hands around me slowly, then let go after a few seconds.

"Do you guys want something to eat?" Mikasa asked, Levi and I nodded. "Do you want me to help you Mika?" Eren offered, she was about to hesitate but then just agreed to avoid arguing. "Stay here, you two" Mikasa said, we both nodded.

Mikasa and Eren left me and Levi alone in the living room, then they went to the kitchen.

While Levi and I talked about some things, Mikasa and Eren went back to the living room, carrying a tray of cookies and glasses of orange juice.

I smiled at the both of them as a thank you for serving us food.

Mikasa placed the tray on the table and they both sat beside each other at the other couch.

"We missed you, Armin" Mikasa started talking. "Yeah, me too" Eren spoke too. "Have I missed something?" I asked. "Not that much," Mikasa answered.

We watched Netflix after talking about stuff. I also cuddled with Levi.

It's just so strange that everytime I look at Eren, he's just staring at Levi and not focusing on what we're watching. Everytime I look at him, he looks away. Same with Levi, everytime I look at him, I see his eyes are staring at Eren.

Mikasa fell asleep too.

They never stopped looking at each other, as if something is happening, or something happened. What if there is?

I watched both of their actions. Is there something that everyone knows except me? Or is there something that both of them know that I don't?

I focused back on what we're watching, not minding whatever is happening.

When we were done watching Netflix, I woke Mikasa up for her to prepare dinner. She proceeded to the kitchen, leaving us three in the living room.

I sat on Levi's lap, then nuzzled on his neck, wrapped my arms around his body.

"Wanna go upstairs to my room?" I asked, Levi haven't answered. I lifted my head and looked weirdly at Levi. "Levi" I tried to grab his attention. "What?" he asked. "I said, do you wanna go upstairs to my room?" I repeated. He nodded and carried me, I wrapped my legs around him and also wrapped my hands on his neck.

When we arrived at my room, he let me go and I opened my room.

I jumped on the bed while Levi closed the door. He approached me, sat on the edge of the bed. I sat up and hugged Levi from behind. He turned around and hugged me back, and we cuddled 'til we fell asleep.

"Did something happened between you and Eren?" I asked, he looked at me with his wide eyes. He denied it and continued hugging me. "You wanna stay here?" I asked, he nodded.
