Chapter 40 : Prettier Than the Stars

It's been 4 months since the prom night. Armin and I spent a lot of time together as to make it up for the times that we weren't together. School year ended a few weeks ago, meaning 2 months of break and time for each other.

Armin even cut his hair! It looks damn fine with him. He said it was best, and since his hair is getting longer. We also got to celebrate my birthday even though it's very late for it, but Armin kept his promise.

Annie has his own boyfriend now, and you might be surprised but, she ended up dating Eren. Since they're the only ones that are single. They just started hanging out after the prom and unexpectedly fell for each other.

My cousin, Mikasa, is still with Jean. I can tell that Jean is a very loyal person, I don't know how the fuck he can handle Mikasa. Erwin and Hange still is dating.

Armin and I do fight over stupid things sometimes, but we always ended up laughing about it and cuddling after. That time, I don't regret taking Armin to the school garden. It's what brought us together. We still visit that place everyday to remember that day.

We sure do love each other.

"Levi, let's go out to the beach!" Armin suggests. "What for?" I ask, confused. "I don't know, and besides, we need fresh air. Come on, please!" Here we are again, Armin using his cuteness. I sigh as I gave up. "Fine..." Armin squealed and pulled me for a kiss, and a hug.

After getting ready, we drove to the beach. It's past 5, the sky is already dark because of the weather. Millions of stars are being showed up, damn.

Two to three people are in the beach, Armin and I not included to the count. We brought a huge blanket for us to lay down on as we watch the stars.

"Levi, thank you" Armin says from my beside. "What are you thanking me for?" I ask. "For all the times you were with me. Thank you for being there for me even in the hard times, and for forgiving me after what I did months ago. Thank you for making my life more interesting. I never expected this, and I do not regret transferring to your- our school."

I smile at him widely. "You're welcome, thank you for making my life lively too. I never intended to happily love someone, but since you came, that changed. I hope we never get separated again, 'til death do us apart. Or maybe not, in another life." Armin teared up a little bit after what I said, but then stopped after comforting him.

Armin wrapped his warm arms around me, I faced him making us look at each other. We kissed and kissed for the night, enjoying this day.

"The stars look very pretty, right?" I whispered as we hear the ocean roar.

Armin chuckles softly, then he looked up to me, gave me another kiss, and then he leaned on my ear whispering:

"Don't worry Levi, you're still prettier than the stars."
