It was right before the Tourney Game that Evie was waiting for her best friends to come. She was excited for Gold, and what would come out of everything.

"Hey Evie ?" came a voice behind her.

She turned around to see Alaistar standing there. She smiled.

"Hey Al. What's up ?" asked Evie.

"Evie, have you studied ? Have you even opened your Chemistry book ?" asked Alaistar in a serious tone.

"Of course I have !" said Evie defensively.

"Well then good. We have an upcoming test, and you have to get good grades if you want to pass this class.." said Alastair.

"I know..why are you telling me this ?" asked Evie.

"Evie, I don't mean it other way, but, you seem so distant and busy. It's like all you care about is your relationship with Chad ! You're doing all his homework and doing errands for him..he is not your boyfriend..you think he is, but he is not. Trust me, Chad is anything but a good prince..you're wasting your time..all you should care about is how to pass the exam without your stupid magic mirror-" said Alastair before he was cut off.

"Stupid magic mirror ?! Alaistar do you think that I cheat off my magic mirror ?" asked Evie, shocked.

"Evie I-" started Alaistor, slowly.

"You know what ? Stop. I get it. I'm gonna do whatever I want, and I'm gonna do it my way, and I don't care what you think, okay ?! I like Chad and I trust him ! So, I don't need you, I am perfectly capable of everything !" yelled Evie, as she walked away.

Alaistar called her and sighed when she didn't answer and walked away. Alaistar closed his eyes in frustration. He never should've told her those things, now he lost his one chance with Evie, but he wanted the best for her, so if it meant losing his chance, he would do it, just for her.

Evie was shocked. She had never thought that Alaistar would say these to her. It almost seemed as if he was....jealous. If she didn't know better, she'd say that he said that for her betterment. She felt bad that she yelled at Alaistar. Maybe he was trying to look out for her, but she trusted Chad....right ?

Shane had no idea what he was doing, besides he was shocked as hell when Mal agreed to go a 'date' with him at the bleachers before the Tourney Game. Shane remembered what Gold has said to him - to treat Mal softly.

He wasn't thinking straight, he didn't know what Mal liked, so he packed a picnic basket and got the place ready for the date before the Game. Shane who was famous all over Auradon for this confidence, was now trembling with fear. He turned pale as he heard Mal's footsteps behind him.

" 'Sup Snow White. I'm here." said Mal, with a small smile.

Shane gulped, "Um, hey Mal. I, uh, here's a picnic basket."

Mal furrowed her eyebrows.

"What ?"

Shane started rambling nervously, "Um, I have packed all sorts of food, uh, sandwiches, strawberries, cakes, pies, and um lot of things, mom insisted on apple pies, but I didn't know if you liked them or not, because I didn't want to make you angry, so-"

"Hey hey hey ! Calm down. Don't be so nervous. You're one of the people I won't kill..for now.." chuckled Mal.

Shane smiled and took a deep breath, "Thanks. Mal, the thing is, that, I like you, a lot, your evil nature intrigues me, because I never thought that you could ever be your mother. You are so much more than that. And I wanted to make you feel different, happy, when you came to Auradon, to make you see that people of Auradon are different, and they truly help you find your goodness. I've always wanted to take you out on a date, and now.."

Mal looked at him. Her gaze turned softer and softer with every word Shane uttered. She felt a big urge to break out in a big smile. She couldn't believe that someone who didn't really know her, felt so much about her, and didn't treat her in a bad way...he treated her...softly..

Shane looked at Mal expectedly.

"So, do you, um, like me maybe, a tiny tiny bit ?" asked Shane timidly.

Mal broke into a smile, "Well, I won't kill you, and you don't irritate me, so, I'm gonna have to say...maybe.."

Shane laughed softly.

"So, Mal, will do the honor of being my villain girlfriend..?"

"I will say yes, just because you said 'villain'."

Gold could see her soul sisters get tangled with princes who love them. She was extremely happy for Mal and knew that she always had a soft corner for Shane, but her heart broke when she saw Evie. Evie had no idea about her love life, and Gold wanted the best for her, so the latter prayed for her soul sister to get together with the person who truly loved her.
