Gold, Mal and Evie were at their lockers when they heard a familiar voice.

"Benny boo, I think you are giving too much. They are villain kids. They are dangerous. I know that your mother married an ugly beast who turned out to be a prince, but in my story the evil fairy was just an evil fairy. That girl's mother." said Audrey as she pointed towards Mal.

"Besides, you know what that girl's mother did to Raven. I know that you don't want to talk about her, but it's true.." said Audrey, pointing towards Gold.

Ben shook his head.

"Man, just be careful bro.." said Chad as he and Audrey walked away.

"Don't listen to them Ben. You did a wonderful job." said Shane, who came beside him.

Ben smiled.

Evie bid goodbye to the duo and went away.

"You know, you could avoid drawing on the lockers. It's kinda illegal." said Shane as he stood in front of Mal.

"Way to take the fun out of it.." said Mal.

"Mal.." whispered Gold.

"Anyway, I could sign you up in the art class. You know if you would like to.." said Shane, scratching the back of his neck.

"Why ?" asked Mal.

Gold nudged her.

"I mean, sure. It could be fun, I guess." said Mal.

Shane's face lit up immediately.

"Let's go.." said Shane.

Mal shrugged and they both made their way towards the art class.

Gold laughed as they disappeared into tje hallway.

"Can you believe it ?! He makes it so obvious !" said Gold.

"Yeah." said Ben, absentmindedly, as he was busy staring at Gold.

"So, uh, how was your day ?" asked Ben.

"Super." said Gold, sarcastically.

"Right. Yeah." said Ben.

Just then, Jane passed in front of them.

"Listen, uh-" started Ben.

"Yeah yeah. Um, I'll catch up with you later. Uh, bye !" said Gold as she followed Jane to the bathroom.

"Yeah, bye.." said Ben as he watched her go.

He leaned against her locker, with a faint smile, as her sarcastic face was still lingering in his mind. He was missing a clue. Gold was like a puzzle. It's like something was missing. She felt so familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it.
