(A/N: There's a lot of tears in this chapter :') you also have your arm back too. I forgot to add that in this and I don't know where to add it yet.)

The first thing I could think of was, 'I'm not dead?'

I couldn't be, since I could hear some things around me. It went in and out, like static on a radio, and it started with screaming. It had to have been mine, but it all felt like I was listening in 3rd person the entire time. I couldn't really register the pain, but my body definitely reacted to it somehow.

Once things seemed to calm down and I didn't hear any screaming, I could hear clearly as if I was awake. I could kind of feeling burning throughout my being but other than that, nothing. One of the first people I could hear to talking to me was Michael and Daniela. Gods, I was so glad that my baby was safe with her.

"Mama, I learned a lot about adding and subtracting with Miss Keyshia, my new teacher. I like her and I don't think I'll bite her! I'm making progress!" He chatted away excitedly. I would've laughed, but couldn't move any of my muscles. It was frustrating.

Daniela chuckled as we both continued listening to him cutely ramble and change subjects with ease. One moment he's talking about math and the next, he's asking about how babies were made. Once he'd calmed down, I could feel him lay next to me and settle down.

I heard shuffling and then a slender hand grabbed mine. "Mother has been with you since you fell into a coma. She's been...overworked and worried. Please, wake up soon. You mean more to this family than you realize and there's only so long before Michael starts to also worry that you may not..."

She paused and didn't continue, but she didn't need to because I understood. I swear, I was falling in love with Alcina more and more. Michael would be in good hands if I went down for good, but the family would be wounded nonetheless. I couldn't leave them and I knew I needed to wake up. However, it seemed as if today wasn't the day.

Everything faded out and I felt myself fall back asleep.

The next...morning(?) I woke up, I could hear Cassandra mumbling something about a meeting with all the lords. I got a bit confused when she seemed to know that I was awake, so to speak.

"Y/n? Thank goodness, I thought you would be asleep forever!" She went silent for a moment, catching what she'd said, "Uh, sorry, poorly timed. Anyway, I thought I would let you know that I wrote another music piece for you. I know you can sing, so I added lyrics but I need your input because it just doesn't sound right with you not helping me. We need you back soon, as hard as that is to say out loud."

She shuffled about the room, seemingly retrieving something and I was surprised to hear the strumming of a guitar. She played a couple parts of the song, but I could hear what she meant. There was something missing in it and I had an idea as to what it was, but...WAKE THE FUCK UP MIND.

She sighed when she stopped playing and chuckled. "I can tell you know what the issue is, mama. Your heartbeat sped up a bit at certain parts." I felt cold lips press to my forehead. "Rest easy and don't rush the healing process."

I knew it wouldn't do me any good to rush thro- wait. WAIT. MAmA?!

'Cassandra, you little shit.'

I fell back asleep after she left, since I couldn't properly panic.

"Y/n, you could wake up any moment now." Bela let out a deep sigh, "I miss you a lot. It has already been two weeks. Michael's the only one who's remaining optimistic and keeping everybody's hopes up. I could tell Mother has cried more than once, but she's putting on a tough facade for all of us. I think Michael's the only one who's keeping her from falling into a pit of despair over you. She loves you, I hope you know that."
