A Change In Life

As planned, after school all of the members met at the large school gates. Felix had crutches in his hands to support his body as he still wasn't recovered entirely. "I see everyone's here," Minho said and he made his way towards the boys. "What took you so long Hyung," Hyunjin asked, clearly annoyed. "It's just- Mr Park being the usual dick he is, he was giving me a lecture on my future because I, according to him, wasn't paying attention in class. Like come on, how can a guy have a future if he is the kid of a devil. The most powerful one. Who can't even control his powers and stopped using them and who is considered one of the most dangerous people in this whole school due to which even some teachers are scared of talking to. I mean, how can a person like me have a bright future?" Minho chuckled bitterly as he walked past the group which was dead silent. "You guys wanna come or I should just leave you?" Minho teased after he saw no one was following him. He felt bad for ruining the mood so he tried lifting it up. As much as he didn't want to open up to these people, somehow it just comes out from his mouth and he didn't know why. "Yah! Wait for us!" Everyone exclaimed and they caught up to him and walked together towards his house.

"Do you really pass this lonely and scary road every day to school?" Hyunjin asked as he looked around anxiously only to find dense forests on either side of him. "Yes." The said boy reply non-chatingly as they walked forward until Minho stopped suddenly. "Why did you stop?" Chan asked as he made his way beside the male. "Can you sense it?" Minho asked as the witch looked at him in confusion. "I do." Changbin stated as he stood beside the older duo which made Chan more confused and then he felt it, a presence of another creature besides the group. "Someone is following us," Minho muttered loud enough for everyone in the group to hear and not the one who was following them, which made everyone tense but they knew they have to act natural not to raise suspicion. "Ok guys-" Minho said while clapping his hands to grab everyone's attention who was pretending to be engrossed in their world. "Listen to me carefully. Join your hands." Minho instructed to which the boys immediately joined their hands. (You know, the prayer position.) Minho sighed before continuing "I mean with each other not your own." Everyone giggled at their actions but liked their hands with each other forming a long chain. "Seungmin, can you please hold Felix's crutches for him?" Chan asked since Seungmin was at the end of the line, so his one hand was free. Seungmin nodded and took Felix's crutches from him as the boy muttered a "Thank You." with a smile. "Everyone ready?" Minho asked as everyone shouted in approval before bright light engulfed them and they disappeared.

"Shit!" the person who was following the group muttered before fishing out a phone from the pocket and dialling a number. "Boss-" the person started as soon as the call was picked up. "I lost them." He finished and started walking back towards where the anonymous came from.

On the other hand, as the bright light faded, the boys found themselves in front of a big mansion as some of them gasped in shock. "This is where you live?!" Jeongin exclaimed not able to believe his eyes. Minho just shrugged in response as he leads everyone inside. "It's even bigger on the inside!" Han gasped as he ran past Minho and settling himself on the couch. "There's even a chandelier!" Felix exclaimed while pointing at the ceiling. Chan and Seungmin we too shocked to say anything and as for Changbin and Hyunjin, they've lived in the castle their whole lives, so this wasn't much of a shock to them but the idea of the owner living here all alone amazed them.

After everyone calmed down and seated themselves comfortably, Minho being the 'polite' person he is, asked them to decide their roommates as there were only a limited amount of rooms in the mansion. Everyone yelled, shouted and argued about being roommates until Chan decided to break it off. "Everyone fucking shut up!" Chan yelled which made everyone freeze at the spot. "Let's decide it with a game. Shall we?" He said with a smile when everyone calmed down as he prepared chits of everyone's names and asked Minho to get him a bowl from the kitchen. "Ok who is gonna go first?" Chan asked which caused yet another chaos. "Ok! Let us start with the youngest." He said being done with the kids, which made everyone to grown except for the fairy of cause, who was smiling widely while clapping his hands in excitement. "Ok, here I go!" Jeongin exclaimed as he shuffled the chits in the bowl and then taking out a random chit from it. "Oh! I got Hyunjin Hyung." He said as he looked towards the boy and smiled. Hyunjin being the 'drama queen' he is, jumped from his spot and hugged the younger in excitement. The fairy was shocked by the sudden skin-ship. It's not like he didn't like hugs and affection, he was just not used to it. Ever since- well that's a story of another time.
