"I can't keep this from them." Bonnie sighed."You can, and you will." Elena growled, approaching Bonnie.
Enzo quickly stepped in front of Elena, in an attempt to protect Bonnie. Elena paused and quickly backed away.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to..." Elena apologized.
Enzo looked like he wanted to say something, but one shake of Bonnie's head silenced him.
"It's okay." Bonnie mumbled.
"We should go, it's getting late." Enzo announced.
"He's right, bye Elena." Bonnie said as Enzo wrapped his arm around Bonnie, leading them out the door.
"Promise me you won't tell them." Elena demanded.
Elena was not planning on letting Bonnie leave if she would tell the others.
"I won't tell them." Bonnie lied.
Bonnie knew something was wrong with Elena and she was determined to help her, even if she had to lie.
Elena nodded, watching as Enzo and Bonnie walked out of her apartment.
Jeremy cautiously roamed the halls of Klaus's mansion, looking for Klaus's office. Jeremy stopped and slowly walked inside the office. His eyes searched for the dagger Elena had shown him.
Jeremy sighed and fell back into Klaus's chair after an hour of searching the room. Jeremy's eyes drifted down to the drawer on the desk. He hesitantly put his hand on the handle, attempting to open the drawer.
Realizing it had been locked, he searched the desk for a key. He let out a small chuckle when he saw a small golden key hidden under a notepad. He quickly undid the lock and pulled the drawer open.
Jeremy instantly looked away from the shining light coming from the dagger. When the light dimmed down Jeremy turned his head to observe it. He had no idea why Elena wanted it. What use could she possibly have with a dagger?
Jeremy froze when he heard Rebekah's voice coming from the entrance of the house.
"We'll find a way to get her back." Rebekah assured.
"You've been saying that for months." Klaus growled.
Klaus had given up months ago, he had come to the conclusion that Elena had found peace. Everyone knew that he secretly held out hope that one day they could get her back, but he seemed to enjoy proving them wrong.
After minutes of silence, Jeremy grabbed the dagger and ran straight to the back door, making as little noise as possible.
Unfortunately, Klaus had been waiting at the door for him. Jeremy gulped and quickly hid the dagger behind his back. It had been extremely dangerous to be around Klaus after Elena supposedly "died".
Klaus eyed Jeremy suspiciously as Rebekah approached them. She paused and furrowed her eyebrows as she recognized the dagger.
"Bloody hell!" Rebekah shouted, taking the dagger out of Jeremy's hand.
Klaus took one look at the dagger and narrowed his eyes at Jeremy.
Before Klaus could say anything Klaus's phone began to ring. Klaus looked at his phone quizzically before answering it.
"What." Klaus growled.
"Elena's alive."
