Seeing olivia in a coma made me feel so fucking guilty. She was there, unconscious, I even teared up a bit too. Why couldn't I be the one there? It was my fault and I was the one who made it out clean. It's really fucked up actually.
"Have you decided yet dear?" A soft angelic voice spoke behind me making me flinch. When I turned I saw a women with chestnut hair. She looked middle age but still very beautiful. But who was she?
"W-what?"
"Oh my, I totally forgot. I'm the mother of the boy your going to marry." She says with a warm smile.
"Oh..."
"So what's your decision?" She asks once more still with a smile.
I look at olivia before turning back. "Yes." I reply. This was my way of apologizing to olivia for what I've done.
"Perfect." She responds hugging me. She was so friendly though. Her hug felt loving and warm. It felt as if my mother was embracing me.
My dad drove me home since my car was totalled. So many thoughts ran through my mind as I looked at each car and tree we passed.
"So, the weddings in three days." My dad began.
"What? Why so quick?"
"Well, that's long actually. It's supposed to be in one but your future husband is in Italy right now."
"Future husband?"
"Yes. Why is it surprising?"
"Why don't you call him by his name?"
"Yeah, about that. You see they don't want you to know who he is until you meet him."
"Why though?"
"It's just something his parents preffered. Also don't tell him about why your marrying him, just keep it shut."
"Why can't I tell him? And why did he even agree to marry me? His not some old dude right?"
"No, it's just yourll need to keep that private. So just don't tell him even if he asks."
"Fine..." I reply as I didn't want to anger him because his voice sounded like he was getting annoyed.
The rest of the drive was silent. He decided to stay with olivia so he just dropped me off at home and left. I guess he doesn't trust me to drive alone...
I ate and watched a movie and next thing I know I wake up on the couch. I checked my phone and it was 5am. I had fallen asleep on the couch. Usually if that happened olivia would wake me up.
We weren't close, we always fought but now with her not here it just doesn't feel the same.
The next two days went so fast. Olivia still hasn't woken up and dad came home once in a while to make sure I wasn't dead.
Where was I now though? Well, I was currently in a huge fucking house with my future mother in law getting ready for my wedding in two hours time. I still couldn't even tell if it was a dream or not. But it felt a lot like reality. And the reality of what I felt right now was that my rib cage really hurt, but I couldn't tell that to dad or he'd think I'm seeking attention. It's probably just because I hit it on the dash in the crash so it's not bad.
"Here." She says holding a black wedding dress and had the brightest smile on her face. A black wedding dress?
"Uhh...why is it black?" I question looking at the dress confused. I mean I'm not complaining, I like black. But for a wedding?
"Oh." She chuckles putting her hand to her chest. "You see, black is our colour and for years all the brides war a black wedding dress. Even me."
That's kinda strange...who was I getting married to? This is ridiculous, I don't even know the name of the family I'm marrying into. It sounded strange because each mafia has a certain colour associated to them. The three highest were gray, red and black was the highest. I know this because the mafia my dad is in is red so any meeting or gathering he went to he war red. But this couldn't be a mafia family right?
