Caleb drove all the way back and the whole ride no one spoke. We were still stunned as to what just happened. I haven't ever seen Leonardo cry, was she that special to him?
We arrived home and I stared at the house. How do I explain everything? The fact that I'm still alive? Why I disappeared for so long?
Leonardo and Caleb walked in first then me. I stood at the door. Everyone stared at me in disbelief. It felt nice seeing my parents again. But happiness is not something I felt now. They ran to me and hugged me.
"Tyler I -I can't believe it." They had tears streaming down.
"What's wrong?" My mother asked looking at our teary faces.
"It's Laura..." Caleb began trying to find words.
"She's...shes gone." I complete as I sob into my fathers shoulder.
"What do you mean gone?" He asked.
"We were in Amsterdam to save Tyler. But she...she got shot." Caleb said crying.
We sat in the living room. It was silent. Each one of us staring down with tears.
"I know this isn't the right time...but how did yourll know her?" I ask looking at them.
"She's my wife." Leonardo answered.
"Wife?" I ask wiping my tears as he just noded.
"You see Tyler...they arranged a marriage for Leonardo and Laura to get married." Caleb says sniffling.
I didn't even want to argue. She's gone now anyway...arranged marriage? But they seemed to be in love.
"I had just seen her, and now she's gone." I say with my voice shaky.
"She was always there for me no matter what." Caleb added.
