"look at this one." i giggle, as i press the share button and sending it to george.
we're going through tweets together. actually getting along.. it's odd.
"that's so stupid." he states. a comfortable silence fills the call, until he speaks up. "look at this one."
i get a notification that george sent something to me. i briskly press the message.

"that's so not true!" i deflect. feeling my face heat up, from embarrassment.
"there is photo proof." george says through laughter.
i scroll about twitter, scanning for a tweet to come back with.
"hey thea?" george's voice turning soft.
"yeah?" i say in a mumble.
he is silence for a moment. "i had fun, yesterday." he gradually claims.
i bite back a smile, even though he can't see me. i'm attempting to hold it back for my sake. "i had fun, too." the smile breaks pass my struggling.
but slowly falls, when i come across a certain tweet.

"thea?" george's voice breaks me out of my haze.
"yeah." i say in a monotone state. "can i ask you something? no bullshit."
"what's up?"
"am i too harsh to you?"
he lets out a tiny chuckle. "what are you taking about?"

"thea, i'm being honest. what are you saying?"
i let out a irritate sigh, whilst sending him the tweet.
a sorrowful silence fills the call. nothing but george's keyboard, keys. "thea." his voice fill with sympathy.
"i hate twitter." i laugh out of frustration.
"for the record, i think you're cool."
"that took a lot for you to say that, didn't it?"
"it did."
a smile tugs at the corners of my mouth. "i think you're pretty cool, also."
"awe you think i'm pretty?" george teases.
