The return of the Marauders

Chapter 7

~Remus~

It's hilarious looking at Sirius and Alice try to act like a couple. I swear I can literally taste the awkwardness between them.

We're all eating breakfast like normal (except for Alice and Sirius sat by each other). I grab my huge breakfast, eggs, toast, bacon, muffins and pancakes.

Not long after we've all settled in, Frank walks over toward us. Alice notices and whispers to Sirius. They smile at each other and try to make it look like they're laughing normal and not fake laughing.

It not working. There still super awkward.

I notice Marlene trying to hold back a smile and failing miserably.
"Looks like Marlenes having fun." I tell James.
"Yeah, can't say the same for Sirius and Alice." He laughs.

James then turns toward Lily,
"You know what I really want?"
"What?"
"There's this one really pretty necklace and,"James gets cut off.
"You're not getting the time turner James!" Lily whisper yells.

Ever since I looked up and found out Lily had gotten  a time turner James has been asking for it. Her answers always the same and it probably won't change, she's smart enough not to let James mess with anything, let alone time.

The day after we found out about the time turner Sirius got a great idea what to do if we ever got it.

~two days ago in their dorm~

Remus was flipping through a book called "magical items and their uses". He was sure he could find Lily's strange necklace in this book.

Remus fist became curious about the necklace after noticing Lily strangely appear out of nowhere then take the necklace and quickly hide it in her pocket.

After flipping through the book for almost and hour, Remus finally found it. It was a golden necklace called a time turner and you could go back in time with it.

So that's how Lily's been going to so many classes.

Sirius, James, and Peter all entered the room. James and Sirius were filthy after having played Quidditch. Their hair all messed up (probably from the wind) and dirt and mud all over their faces. Peter would always go to the games cheering his friends on.
Remus never fancied Quidditch he'd rather be reading or spending his time elsewhere and being productive.

"How'd the game go?" Remus asked.
"Brilliant, like always."James boasted.
"Yeah they were great!" Peter said.
"Honestly Moony you should just expect us to win every match now, we're just that good, aren't we Prongs?" Remus rolled his eyes at Sirius.

"Indeed Padfoot." James walked over to his trunk, grabbed some clothes and headed toward the bathroom to shower.

"Don't take too long Prongs I can already smell Pads from here!" I yelled at him through the door.
"Hey!" Sirius gasped, offended.

"Whatcha reading Moony?" Peter asked looking down at the open book in front of Remus.

"Let's take a look." Sirius said grabbing the book before Remus could protest.

"Ooo Moony you got a secret girlfriend?" Sirius teased looking at the picture of the necklace.

"No," Remus grabbed the book from Sirius hands. "I saw Lily have it."

"What's so special about a necklace?" Peter asked.
"When I saw Lily have it she quickly put it away. So I looked it up and turns out it's a time turner."

"A what?" Sirius question dumbly.
"It's a time turner Pads what more do I have to say."

"Well Moony I'm not the expert on time turners it could be anything for all I know."
"Turns out you're not the expert on common sense either."
Sirius makes a face and sticks his tongue out like a kid.

"I HAVE A BLOODY BRILLIANT IDEA!" Sirius shouts out of nowhere. I think I hear James fall in the shower. Me and Peter give Sirius a puzzling face as to why he just KILLED OUR EARS.

"Ok, so we need to get that time turner from Lily. Then we can go back in time and pick on Snivellus how ever many times as we want!" He looks at us waiting for our reactions.

"No, Pads you'd somehow break time." Remus is the first to talk.
"I quite like the idea." Of course Peter would want to do it, last week Snape turned his skin blue. Most of it had come off but you could still see some blue.

"Let's wait till Prongs gets out he'll agree with me." Sirius walked up to the bathroom door and started banging on it hard.
"PRONGS GET OUT!" He yelled.

"Bloody hell! You trying to wake up all of England?" James opened the door, his hair still wet, and his pajamas on.

Sirius ran up to him and pulled him to where we were sitting.
"Now you're gonna brake my arm off!"

"Quit whining you big baby. We have bigger plans to discuss." Sirius remarked. James stood next to the rest of us.

Sirius then went on to tell James his "master plan". James was eager at once, wanting to run into the girls dorm and get the time turner himself.
