You haven't heard from Jj in days, since the fight he had with the others when he stole 25k from Barry.
You were starting to get worried, you usually would've heard from him by now. He hasn't answered any of your texts or calls.
You were currently at the chateau in the spare room that you & Jj claim as your own, worried out of your mind.
You sat at the edge of your bed with your head in your hands.
You were thinking the worst of the worst. You just hoped that Jj was okay.
A few minutes had gone bye and you here footsteps coming into the room, you slowly looked up & saw Jj.
"Jj? oh my god" you say placing your hand over your chest, finally feeling relaxed.
You ran over to him and gave him a hug.
You looked up at him, seeing some new cuts & bruises from his dad.
You brought your hand to his cheek, rubbing your thumb over it softly. You sighed, trying to hold back the tears.
You went into the bathroom and did the normal routine to clean his face.
The two of you walked over & laid on the bed. You on your back with Jj on your chest & his arms around your torso. Your hand found its way to his hair.
"im sorry" he says
"its okay babe"
"i should've answered your texts and calls but as soon as dad saw me he-"
"hey hey , shhh its fine J. Im just glad you're okay"
He looked down and away from you, but you noticed the tears forming in his eyes anyways. He started crying even more.
"hey your okay, i promise" you say scratching his back lightly
"I just.... i cant take him anymore y/n" he says
He shoves his face further into your neck.
"i just want the pain to go away" he cries
It broke your heart seeing him this way. Jj is usually a tuff cookie, but sometimes he cant hold it in anymore.
You let him cry on his chest as you held him.
"J?" you say but he doesn't look up
"can you look at me please?"
He looks up at you with his red eyes.
"Listen to me, you're safe with me. Nothings gonna hurt you" you say rubbing his cheek once again
He nodded, laying back down on you.
You kissed the top of his head while holding him tightly.
"i love you Jj" you say playing with his hair once again , not expecting an answer
"i love you so much y/n, so so much"
"Okay now go to sleep, you need it"
He fell asleep in your arms till the next morning.
