Jason, Ollie and Billy were carrying Kara, who was still in her critical state whilst Mara, Zoe and Kylie were watching for signs of trouble. They were in grasslands; the grass was a light green and the sky a bright blue.
"So, do you guys happen to know a warlock" Zoe asked as they walked down the path
"Yeah but I don't think Kara's equipped for that" Mara said as she scanned the valley ahead of them, stopping to do so
"Equipped for what?" Kylie asked as she walked in sync with the other girls
"Her condition wasn't great four hours ago and now she's being carried, jostled around and what not. I'm only gonna guess that her wounds have gotten worse over time" Mara said and Zoe looked back
"She's right but it's not like we can just walk into Paleo" Zoe sighed, Mara got an idea right at that moment
"That's Deadwood forest" Mara said as she pointed to the right
"So?" Zoe said
"Transgression should be on the other side. There's tons of Warlocks and too many criminals that would be too afraid to rat us out" Mara said
"I heard that there's a curse on Deadwood forest. They say anyone who goes in never comes out" Kylie said, sending shivers down her spine
"Maybe but we're not just anyone, are we?" Mara said, the tone of her voice was challenging and Zoe shrugged
"I guess not" Zoe said
"And besides that's the only way we're getting to Transgression without trouble" Mara said before she started to go down the hill, the others following suit
