Ruby Riot: Kirishima x Reader

~Prologue~

Hey guys !! I'm new to Wattpad, and this is actually my first time writing a story. I'm more into writing song lyrics, so this is totally new for me. I'll keep this prologue short, I just want to be sure to establish the background and little notes before jumping in !

~About U.A University~
This takes place in a made up university- "U.A. University", where all the characters attend after graduating from U.A. U.A. University is a prestigious hero training academy that allows students to further train their quirks, and work along side certified pro hero's with the goal of earning their pro hero certification. For simplicity, Shota Aizawa has decided to leave U.A. to teach class 1-A at U.A. University as he believes that he must continue training the students that he's previously taught as they've created a bond during their years at U.A.

~About You (y/n)~
You (y/n) is a transfer student that enrolls at U.A. University. You and the rest of class 1-A (keeping the name 1-A for simplicity) are in your sophomore year of University. Your quirk is water manipulation. You can shoot water out your hands on command, and manipulate it as an attack. You can control the amount of water pressure that you would like to use on your attack. The weakness is that you will feel faint and weak after extensive usage of your quirk, and will need to make sure to stay hydrated and be fully rested in order for it to function at it's best. Your hero name is "Hydrolysis", pronounced "hy-drol-leh-sis". [hehe~Ochem reference ]

~Formatting~
I plan to write this line per line (play style), but there will be moments that's not necessarily said by the character that's simply just used to provide context to a conversation. I'll write out a characters thoughts in italics to distinguish between dialogue and context -
Jeez I said I'd keep this brief, but look at me info dumping.
A flashback will be written with underlined italics
I remember taking calc, it really contributed to the start of my villain storyline....

~Last minute housekeeping~
This story is honestly based on my perception of the characters on the show, as I'm somewhat writing this from my own point of view. With that being said, I'm talking through the characters as how I'd feel they'd respond. Also, the way y/n responds to situations in the story reflects how I'd most likely respond. Feel free to use the comments, I'd like to see your reactions as well, the comments are the best parts about Wattpad!! I'm going to try to keep the story similar how it is in the show, using references to past episodes etc. I haven't read the manga nor seen the second movie yet, so references will come from seasons 1-4 and the first movie. However, this takes place in the future, so things will be a lot different. This story is going to be kept clean of mature scenes and profanity, I'm not too comfortable uploading 18+ content, so this should be an easy read for everyone to enjoy !! The characters are young adults in the story, so this isn't exactly a children's book either.
