~Chapter 9~

After the meal, you both head back to campus and Kirishima walks you up to your room.

Y/n: Thank you for watching over me today, I really appreciate it.

Kirishima: It's no problem, I was worried for you. I want you to get some rest, you must be tired.

Y/n: Yeah, I could use some sleep. Thank you for everything today.

Kirishima cups your cheeks and gently brings you in for a sweet kiss. You feel the same butterflies you felt as if it were your first. You grab him and return the kiss. You feel the passion exuding from him, you feel his love for you through the kiss. You both pull back.

Y/n: What was that for ?

Kirishima: To *SHOW* you how much I love you, babe. I can only say it so much, but I need to show you so you feel it.

Y/n: Kirishi-

Before you finish your sentence, Kirishima holds you in a tight embrace. You're so close, you can hear his heart beating through his chest. You begin to feel the safe feeling again while you're in his arms. After a few minutes of embracing, you try to pull back, but this time he won't let go.

Y/n: Kirishima ?

Kirishima: I can't let you go, I want to stay like this forever. Embracing you keeps you safe, but it also provides me a sense of comfort. Your little heartbeat is music to my ears. Knowing that you're safe with me in my arms, and that I'm protecting you makes me so happy. I want to stay like this forever. I love you so much more than you'll ever know.

You start to understand. You can see that you provide a sense of security for Kirishima. Keeping you safe provides him with comfort just like his warm embraces provides you with that same level of comfort. You understand that you're his rock.

Y/n: I want to stay like this forever as well. I love you so much, Kirishima, don't forget that. It's been an emotionally exhausting day for the both of us, how about you spend the night in my dorm today.

Kirishima let's go of the embrace. He looks down at you with his angelic ruby eyes. A smile spreads across his face.

Kirishima: Really ? You don't mind ?

Y/n: Of course not, it's only one night.

Kirishima briefly returns to his dorm to change into his pjs. While he's gone, you start another entry, this time it's a poem.
