Yuki felt heavy in my arms, his heavy breathing filled the air. I knew he was tired and I still haven't found a good place to stay. The last time Yuki ate was when I freed him from that awful cage and that was only two bananas and an apple...

I was stupid not to grab the few water bottles and the last few fruit that was left untouched.

I've never felt this horrible in a long time. So useless..

The sun was just coming up giving the sky a orange color. Of cores we've rested here and there but that was it and then we where on our feet again.

Narrowing my eyes towards Yuki, his head was bent down his eyes half open.

He was slightly shivering as we stopped at a dead end street, "Great.." I groaned. Yuki slowly looked up, dark circles under his eyes, his skin was as pale as a ghost and he didn't smell that great neither, which I probably don't smell any better.

"W-where are we?" He whispered weakly trying to keep his eyes open.

I just shrugged taking a look around. "Another dead end street." He nodded as he slowly slipped down to his knees. "I'm a bit tired...I t-think I'm just going to stay here for awhile."

Annoyed, I turned to him. "Yuki, we have to keep moving..I know your tired but if we don't keep moving we won't find a place..." I pointed a finger at him. "And you need to eat and get healthy!"

He slowly nodded as he rested his head in the dry dirt. "Just five minutes." And then he was out, his eyes closed and a soft snore leaving his lips. Groaning I fell to the ground resting on my hands as I stared up at the twilight sky.

It's been almost two days and I still haven't found a place, I'm making it so much harder on Yuki...with a sigh I reached up grabbing a sleeping Bubbles and cupping him in my hands. "Bubbles...you awake?" A squeak left his little mouth his eyes still shut. I smiled. "Sorry for waking you, I'm just feeling a bit depressed....and need a friend to talk to.." Bubbles nodded as he jumped into my lap snuggling up against my black sweater.

"Well, as you know I'm trying my best to find a warm place for you and Yuki, but I feel like I'm failing...I don't know what I'm doing anymore, it's becoming hard..."

Bubbles nodded as he begun to squeak. I nodded. "I know, I shouldn't give up so easily.." Bubbles squeaked again before running up my arm and onto my head.

I smiled. I'll let Yuki sleep for a bit before I wake him...he needs his rest.

Bubbles squeaked again making me roll my eyes. "Yeah, yeah I'll get some sleep to mr. Bossy."

Slowly I laid beside Yuki, his low snores keeping my mind at bay, normally people snoring had me on a rampage, I hated it, the sound made me want to rip my ears off and stuff them in a blender...but this time it was different...I haven't had someone to sleep by in years and if I did I was always having to keep an eye open just incase the person tried to steal something of mine or worse kill me..living on the streets was hard and very tiresome. You hardly ever got to rest or even eat...

Smiling I looked at the Neko beside me, the ears on top of his head twitched every so often, his black hair rested over his forehead covering his eyes. The jacket I gave him was a bit louse but long enough to cover his boxers and his bear legs sat against his chest.

He looked so comfortable, I haven't seen him sleep since we left the house he was at...

The only part that sucked was That I'd have to wake him from his peaceful sleep soon before night hits. It was chilly now but we had the heat from the sun, but night time it was more then freezing..and I would like to try to find somewhere better then sleeping on the ground and find us something to eat before then.
