The sky was darkened by storm clouds, a cold breeze tickling the back of my neck sending a slight shiver though my body making me pull my jacket tighter around me, my black hair blew into my lowered face my eyes gazing onto the dead dry grass beneath my shoes as I walked in a slow pace back towards the cabin that had become my home.

I couldn't help but dwell on the thought that Kyle somehow knew my cousin who so happened to be a demon in human skin. It bothered me even scared me. It wasn't like I didn't trust Kyle, it was more the other person I didn't trust. She was conniving and got anything she wanted with her good looks, but what was more troublesome was that Kyle had known her from his past..he even had a nickname that he still remembers from what did he say? Two, three years ago? "Chocolate bunny?" I growled. "What the fucks up with that?" Stuffing my hands in my pockets I narrowed my eyes as I took a turn on the dirt road towards the cabin. "And why wouldn't he talk to me! That...that dick!" Sighing I looked up at the darkened sky raindrops hitting my face. "And now I'm talking to myself.."

A sudden throbbing pain exploded in my back making halt with a short gasp. It was like someone had suddenly stabbed me taking my breath away and for that few minutes that's all I felt as I tried to catch my breath. I had pains here and there from that attack from the wolf, my wounds not fully healed yet but none this bad...must be from all the walking I've been doing. Finally the pain eased enough for me to breath somewhat normally and stand up in a hunched way as I slowly started again towards the cabin the sound of leafs crushing under my shoes as I walked down the dirt road. "Great.." I moaned. "Just more scars to add on my body of art."

Kyle will already be on his way here by the time I get home with this slow ass pace I'm moving at. Grinding my teeth I sucked in the pain and stood up straight my back begging me not to as pain shot down my spine though my legs and to the tips of my toes. Biting my lip I pushed the tears far away, it was time for me to be tough and no longer a baby..this is nothing...just a little pain I've went though worse...

I took a slow step forward which was a horrible idea as my back tightened up sending waves of severe pain though my entire body and this time I had no control of the tears that spilled down my cheeks, instantly I went back into a hunched position hoping it'd ease the pain but it only made it worse with the movement making me whimper my legs crumbling from beneath me to the wet ground the rain now poring down on me.

I couldn't think straight, I'd try to forget the pain by thinking of Kyle or even Jerry..but nothing helped as my thoughts went straight back to the dreadful pain that engulfed my entire body. Another whimper left my lips as another wave of pain shot though my body.

I don't know how long I sat there as the dry dirt turned into mud and the rain socked my clothes, thunder roared from above and lightning streaked across the sky. The tears had mixed in with the freezing rain and finally the pain eased away into a annoying throbbing and even though the pain had went away I was scared to move as if me moving would suddenly bring back that pain..so I stayed put for another few minutes before taking a long deep breath then letting it out as I stood up on wobbly feet. 

I stood in a hunched way slowly inching up into a straight portion, and to my surprise the pain didn't come back instead stayed as a annoying throbbing that I put in the back of my head as my thoughts immediately went back to Kyle and Maggie.

I took step after step faster and faster as the rain pored down harder then before, I ignored everything that had me on edge the only thought now being getting home before my back acts up again leaving me out in the rain to catch a dam cold.
Finally the cabin came into view and I couldn't help but smile although I wanted to run and jump into...well the floor under warm covers I decided that it'd probably be a bad ideal due to my back problem. So instead I walked my smile growing bigger as I reached the three steps climbing up them I reached for the handle and opened the door to be met with a warm cozy cabin. I dropped my bag to the floor, as I closed the door behind me.

My eyes drifted to the loveseat where Jasper would normally be reading one of his manga's, I walked from the front door to the kitchen hoping to see him making something to eat.

"Jasper?" No reply. "You here?" I jumped when I heard a squeak, looking down I saw Jerry sitting on the arm of the love seat. "You scared me!" I laughed as I walked towards him scooping him up in my hands. "Where's Jasper?" Jerry turned towards the bathroom. "Oh.." I was about to sit when Jerry squeaked again shaking his little head. "You're right.." I said looking down at my soaked clothes. "I'm all wet..."

About to place Jerry back down I paused with a whine as his teeth bit into my thumb. "W-what was that for!?" I snapped looking down at the teeth marks. Jerry's head went from me towards the bathroom. "What is it?" I said following his gaze just as the front door busted open making me jump Jerry flying from my hands his small claws digging into my wet jacket as to keep him from flying away and most likely dying as a scream escaped my mouth. eyes wide I slapped my hand over my chest. "God dam..you scared the shit outta me.." I snapped just as Jasper shut the door a little to harshly.
"Sorry! I didn't- uh you're home early!" I only nodded giving him a questioning look as Jerry took a seat on my shoulder.

"Sweet...wanna...uh..go for a walk?" I shook my head. "It's poring outside.." I said in a obvious tone. "Cool....well you're probably super tired! Bubbles he's tired what are you doing keeping him up like that! He's been in hell all day!" Me and Jerry looked at each other. "Uh, you okay Jaspers?" "Y-yeah haha what kinda question in that!?"
Narrowing my eyes I placed Jerry back on the arm of the chair before waking toward the bathroom. "Is someone here?" He shook his head eyes darting from me to the door back to me. Rolling my eyes I grabbed the handle and tried to open the door. "It's locked..Jasper there's obviously someone In there.." He shook his head again pointing a finger at himself. "No I just accidentally locked myself in and couldn't get it open." Rolling my eyes I looked over at him. "Looks like you got out just fine idiot."

His mouth fell open. "Did you Yuki just call me an idiot!?" Frowning I nodded. "Yeah I did only because you're acting like I'm an idiot!" "Don't yell at me!" He snapped. "Well don't treat me like an idiot!" I snapped back. "Oh my God! Okay I'm in here! Just shut up!" Came a voice from inside. We both closed out mouths and turned towards the door as it opened a girl standing in a white bloody T-shirt, scraped up knees her hair all over the place. "You look horrible!" I said before I could stop myself. She only rolled her eyes. "Thanks I didn't notice." She signed as she passed me and Jasper falling onto the loveseat. As I looked her up and down I finally noticed the ears poking from her head. "You're a-" "no shit!" She snapped out before I could finish my sentence. "She was a bitch to me too." Jasper mumbled. "Said she'd kill me if I let anyone know she was here." "I'm right here dumbass." She mumbled rolling her eyes.

I stepped forward picking up Jerry, "why are you here?" I asked as I rubbed Jerry's head with my pinky. She shrugged. "Saw a cabin in the woods and decided it was my only chance to get away from those wolves." "Wait!" I gasped. "You led them here!!?" She shrugged again as if it didn't really matter. "Whatever. They haven't found me yet since I'm twice as fast as those creeps." "It doesn't matter how fast you are they can follow you're scent!" I snapped. "Are you telling me to leave?" She snapped pushing herself from the seat. "This is our home...you will destroy it.." I replied looking to the floor. "Pathetic pice of shit...that's what you are!" She sneered in my face. "I'm a Neko just like you! I'm being hunted down by those beast and all you care about is you're stupid broken down cabin!?" I slowly shook my head. "T-that's not it...its jus-" "shut up!" She snapped cutting me off. "Whatever I'll leave..." She then turned to Jasper. "You coming with?" I eyed Jasper with pledging eyes. He sighed. "No...I'm staying here Jane." She let out a chuckle. "Wow..." She walked towards the door before leaving she turned back her eyes darkened by hate. "Rot in hell you ass holes!" With that said she left.

I glared over at Jasper who shook his head in a quick motion. "Dude, she was totally going to kill me..." With a deep sigh I placed Jerry back on the arm of the chair before making my way to the front door reaching out I grabbed the handle pulling it open. "Um, where are you going?" "She's right...where all in the same position..I can't just let her go like that..I'm going to help her." I said before shutting the door behind me.
